I agree with ALL of this! I worked with a guy that pledged Omega Psi Phi and they literally "branded" him on his arm. This man was in his fifties and still saw nothing wrong with that foolishness. He was more loyal to the fraternity and "brothers" than he was his son he hardly saw. Pathetic.

That's your opinion. A lot of your bishops and preachers yall celebrate are Omega's , Kappa's, Alphas, Sigmas. So are they pathetic? Bishop Joseph Walker is an active member of Omega as well as E. Dewey Smith. Jamal Bryant Kappa and many more are not only part of Greek Fraternities but also Freemasonry.

I worked with an Omega who feels like he has to wear his gold boots and something Omega related like a t-shirt everyday and this guy is approaching 50 if he's not already in his 50s. He dresses and walks around like he's in his 20s. A Delta called him out on it. I promise you some of these folks in these sororities & fraternities are "too much involved." What I mean by that is that's all they wear, all they talk about, the only people they hang out with, everywhere they go it's something sorority/fraternity related. They do more for their sorors and frat brothers than their own family, smh. Funny how they can afford to go to a convention for that, but can't afford to go to their family reunion.

I like Bishop Wooden. And he's not necessarily wrong he's actually right in many ways in regards to black fraternities. But some that are older are actually in graduate chapters and most of them are leaders, that do most of the organization's community service, and leadership programs. Some are even 60-80 years old. So just because you are older and wear your shirts or caps doesn't mean you are childish. It means you just appreciated being a part of the organization. I bet if you're 60 and have on a church of God and Christ cap on you won't open your mouth one bit.

They will throw people “a bone” with some charity and scholarships but they are NOT for uplifting and helping the black community Look up the black boule and see why they were truly created AND if you are a Christian then you have no business being in one of those organizations. @@scottfree7089This pastor is also applauding the advent of fraternities and sororities, something Jennings abhors. Yet, Wooden, while denigrating the elder college alumnists that have raised and donated hundreds of thousands through scholarships, toy and clothes drives, he lashes out at them for proudly wearing the colors of their individual frats while forgetting to use that same energy when 80yr old soror's are doing the same. He ingnores these same said men who are endeavoring to inspire future leaders, now adolescents, to become future leaders in this country. So, just because this negro "opines" his narrow, agendists views, he believes himself above reproof. Not over here Doc! Those "yes -men" yelling in the background might fall for the okee-doke. But not me. This, after he recently said that Donald Trump was a more God honoring President, than Joe Biden. When neither of these nearly octogenarians honor God truly. "Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the ❤" That's exactly what he said when mentioning God wants you to mature. Internal spiritual growth exudes externally. This is where dressing modestly comes from. Modestly: in an unassuming manner; without vanity or arrogance The way you dress up your external appearance is a reflection of arrogance, vanity, insecurity, immaturity..etc internally (w/in the ❤)..or lack thereof.

@chrisan Please remember that before you pledge your allegiance to an ungodly group. The problem wrong with most black men is that they don’t want or welcome anything that is in opposition to their own way of thinking.
