Liverpool has won the transfer window so far, spending 90 million on 2 talented young midfielders and also could add another midfield player and a center back too. With that team rebuilt, Liverpool can challenge for the premier league title next season if the new players settle in, some players return to their best and they keep everyone fit. Injuries was a problem for Liverpool last season and the limited depth and spending was very evident, and they definitely can mount a title challenge next season. Considering the season they had last year, the need for reinforcements was obvious and so far they've addressed the midfield and have gotten new and fresh faces in the team. The smart recruiting has been a big factor as to why they've had success under Jurgen Klopp and he might be building Liverpool's next great team and it looks exciting in the present and in the future. Andy Robertson didn't have his best season despite having lots of assists and he can regain his form next season, Virgil Van Dijk was far from his best and regardless of form even if he'll turn 32, he's one of the first names on the team sheet, Ibrahima Konate is a good CB and he has lots of talent, he needs to stay fit and be reliable in most of the games, Trent Alexander-Arnold will have more cover in defense and he'll do what he does best in attack, also with Alisson in top form and they sign a defender, the team looks really good. Thiago Alcantara will have a squad role same with Jordan Henderson, they have young talent like Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Stefan Bajcetic, and they could add Romeo Lavia to the team, this is exactly what Jurgen Klopp wants in order to compete for trophies again, not just a quality XI, he wants to keep the rest of the squad fresh on their toes when they're fit and it provides a healthy level of competition, but so far so good rejuvenating an aging midfield and I see Liverpool achieving big things next season.
