What you are saying is true.Back in 1987,we went to a party in New York and after the party I saw an Nzema man and Asante were quarreling and I tried to separate them and they began to laugh at me.When I asked them why? They explained what you are talking about today.That is a good history 🙏🏾

Well if I can understand the history, then it's sad for Dr Kwame Nkrumah to divide the Ashanti region. Because I believe any one who love unity is good person so he should have allowed the Ashantis alone. My personal opinion.

Johnny Darren, Please if we ALL knew that ASANTE REGION DIVISION by Dr.KWAME NKRUMAH had CAUSED us GENERATIONAL HARM, why did we ALLOW PRESIDENT NANA ADDO too to DIVIDE the WHOLE GHANA 🇬🇭 from 10 REGIONS to 16 REGIONS? or we are waiting for him too die before start COMPLAINING? Thank you.

@@samkofi9384 sam Kofi, plz deal with common sense, what's I mean is that Dr Kwame Nkrumah shouldn't have brought an old name to cover the new divided areas like a Bono Ahafo region, he should have divided the Ashanti region as Ashanti region and west Ashanti region period.

Is just like the way we ASANTES are CLAIMING now that we are GANA EMPIRE and GOLD COAST PEOPLE but we were not GANA EMPIRE nor GOLD COAST PEOPLE because GANA EMPIRE PEOPLE are the NORTHERN and the GOLD COAST PEOPLE are those who are leaving along the COAST. The hate we are seeing from those from Bono enclave against Ashantis, it is because they don't want the name Bono but they just can't say the truth. Grow up...

Nkrumah goal was to marginalized the asante kingdom due to how powerful we were. Thats why he made ashante west bono ahafo region..Not only that, he also took away all properties the British left for asantehene agyemang prempeh of which he was collecting income to develop kumasi. No wonder it was called " garden city of africa". He took all properties bcos prempeh the 2nd supported nkrumahs opponent with money. Ashanti region is the only region in Ghana that 10feet from any road belongs to the government instead of the king..no wonder our roadside is full of containers and kiosk allocated to them by district assemblies..Nkrumah limited ashanti history in our schools and JJ Rawlings continued. That's effect of what we are seeing today bcos most ghanaians dont know our history.. Nkrumah created cocoa board to stop asantehene from selling and collecting taxes on cocoa sales in ashanti kingdom.. But now people who parents know nothing about cocoa farming are enjoying its scholarship..Asantes have been sidelined from any development for many many years...It was recently presented Kuffuor started sofoline interchange, magana did kejetia and Nana Addo upgrading the airport to international standard

Asante confederacy not kingdom. The more you people continue to tell this lie that bono is under ashantis the more people wont believe your fabricated distortion of history. Just because asantehene has been able to convince some small bono chiefs to swear to him doesnt mean bono was ever under the kingdom of ashanti. Correction: The towns don't serve Asante; they serve the Golden Stool. All Asantes and the Ahafo towns together serve the Golden Stool.
