It should've ended after season 12, it was still good and it was a right clousure cause of meredith journey to healing, after that it became a political manifesto, they usually had deeper messages behind each episode and dialogue throughout the seasons but it was made in a subtle way and in line with the narrative, now its just all over the place and if you rewatch old episodes you can clearly see that and the reasons why of this is because they already tell us everything and there aren't enough/other material to unfold anymore about the main characters (especially meredith) and they killed off the important ones, thinking about it, should've ended at season 8 on a good note, with everyone still in the picture but thats why it feels like a cold political manifesto cause the heart of the show was killed long time ago.

Not these days with the high rents...alot of kids are doing area college commuting & residing with their parents cz the rents are unreasonably much too high. Even after graduation their workin' & residing with their parents , even a tiny house on their parents property cz the rents are unreasonable

Grey is basically a nighttime soap opera. When they start doing crossovers with other dramas especially spin-offs like what is happening with The Walking Dead Universe, it was sign she was in state of burn out with the show. It could be other things like she said just hope she isn’t going to be typecast into other roles similar or related to this one.
