We will not only be a generation that talks about Gods power, but we will carry God's power to meet the needs of this generation! For the kingdom of God is not based on talk but on power. - I Corinthians 4:20
Every generation needs a fresh encounter with God. Just like the Israelites, a generation would see the hand of God move, then another generation would arise, not encounter God like the generation past and would end up in captivity. This cycle would happen over and over again and its not much different from Christians today. We have heard the stories of the Great Awakening in the 1700's, the Welsh revival & Azuza street revival. However, God is not a God of back then, He is a God of the now! God is not finished with our generation. Hebrews 13:8 states that Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, today and forevermore!
