Dogdog is such a beautiful yet sad song I'm so glad it's getting more attention 😭😭😭 there's so many emotions to unpack here and in his other works, he was younger than 18 when this came out too so it rlly makes you wonder how abuseken's life had been to make something like this.

as a trans girl i feel like this song hits pretty hard for me, people have a ton of prejudice against us mostly because they think it’s some kind of “weird sexual thing” even though that cant be farther from the truth. when (most, especially because of the crazy amount of anti trans bills being approved recently and people just switching up all of a sudden) people just constantly think that your existence is based on some kind of abnormality, it feels so alienating and kind of like being treated like some weird animal, which i guess also ties in with the song. it’s hard to go through that pretty much everyday but i still try to go on without being phased too much. thank you for reacting to this, it’s always good to see people understand

This song hits hard . I'm a transgender man ftm and a gay man. I'm very excluded from my own community. Somehow I'm made to feel ashamed of being myself and the way trans bodies are always talked about in a negative way, makes me feel like a monster hurts alot. In the process I start to feel less vaild to the other men around me . Even though I am a man deep down . But because I'm not cis , I get inflantized and I get treated as if I'm a confused lady when in reality I'm not a lady. It's uncomfortable and suffocating. That or you're mere existence is seen as a problem/ burden or disgusting . They make you feel like a mutation even though you aren't one. And they call you're trans body mutilation when it's not. Quite frankly the body I'm trapped in gives me so much distress and is just too heavy to carry . I just want a body I can finally call my own. I want to feel at home and comfortable in skin that's more me. I'm struggling to set up a appointment to start transitioning. I have enough money to start but idk if it's enough for medicinal fees or the appointment itself. Plus my insurance won't cover trans heathcare expenses so I have to pay out of pocket . Hopefully I can start soon.

Man, this is so relevant with all of the anti-trans bills being passed in the us, it really feels sometimes like people see lgbtq+ people as inferior beings, when in reality we are just people wanting to live our lives in peace and wanting to learn to love ourselfs as well

I hadn't realized how the 'Ikitai' from the second chorus could be interpreted... It sounds like 'I want to live' but the kanji they used makes it look like 'I want to LEAVE/go' (the subs just kept it as die), so it's like they're trying to convince themselves that they want to live, when in reality they'd just like the pain to stop no matter how. They say they look beautiful screaming such things, but it's probably because what's expected of them is to keep living even so... it's such a miserable experience. It's like lying to everyone else and pretending to be strong, but really just wanting to quit deep down. Even if society keeps telling you that quitting is bad. What a dilemma.

My fanily gets upset with me when I show how uncomfortable I am to being called she . I don't want to make a big deal about it. I feel bad . But damn dose it hurt alot. That or they will say I look too feminine or they will say I'm not a real man . Or they will say my actions are too feminine. Which again kills me inside. Abuseken's music is amazing and criminally underrated, I'm so happy that they're getting the recognition they deserve!! They always have such great meanings to their songs and they're always so catchy; their music deserves so much more popularity! I just heard this song today, and I already feel SO SEEN AND RECOGNIZED BY THIS SONG RIGHT NOW. I always thought that something was wrong with me because I sometimes feel like wanting to die, but at the same time I don’t. I hate that I’m so confused with what I want, and it regularly makes me feel like a coward for never going through with it. It’s not really because I’m a part of the lgbtq community (even though I am, and I’m proud of it), it’s more of feeling inferior to other people’s talents and accidentally making people feel bad and feeling useless because I can’t do anything right and that my existence hurts people. At least with this song I can now feel easy knowing that I’m not the only one who’s constantly feeling this way.

I relate to this song so much and I hate it, I hate the fact that people in the lgbtq+ community (including myself) have to deal with people being so hateful towards them JUST because they're lgbtq+, especially because I also live in an area where most of the people are homophobic and transphobic

I know this is a year old now, but I really think you should check out more of Abu-Se-Ken's music (if you want to). It may take a while to get used to their music, but I personally really enjoy it and it manages to calm me down and comfort me sometimes even though the lyrics and music are disturbing sometimes. I've even loved looking into some of the songs, and the songs he has made are some of my favorite.

I know this comment is about a month late, but I really had to get this out since I feel so strongly about this song and the art in it. If you slow down the song and watch it over, you can see pride flags flashing in the background. I noticed this while combing over the video. This is definitely a song about struggling with your identity, both sexually and physically. The title itself "dogdog" might be referring to the feeling of being an animal or less than because you think you're not normal. "What you call normality, is the beginning of my death." and "The prostitution that you love so much, is the beginning of my death." Is referring to the struggle with your sexual identity, and how you can come to hate yourself for being "abnormal". "A common opinion is so good, While having tolerance of fetishism, so bad." I believe is referring to the people who say they support the LGBT community, but also have a fetish for LGBT relationships, such as a man being obsessed with lesbian couples, and women being obsessed with gay couples. "I want to die but yet, I wont die." and "Do I want to live or die?" Is talking about the constant struggle of living or dying, you just want to die because everyone seems to hate you, but you refuse to die just to spite the people that hate you so much, and you don't want to give up. "I don't really want you to cry, even though my body yearns to die a little bit more." Is obviously very self explanatory. You want to die but you don't want to hurt the people around you. "It's not like I want you to kill me but I just hope that you'll feel guilty." Is the hope that if you do end up taking your life, it will strike change, and make people feel bad for being hateful.

I think that this song is difficult to listen very much, because it is a lot of information in Japanese. If you look at this song in English subtitles, I think it's more difficult than Japanese. However, the English consideration felt a little different from the sensitivity of the Japanese. It was good to hear the impression that I might not have felt in Japanese. Thank you.
