Fodera makes one of the industry's most well-known and best-made basses. Popularized by a cast of great artists, I take a deep dive into why I've chosen these instruments while sharing specs about my three builds, and my uses.

The only other musician I know who plays bass ans saxophone is Wilton Felder, he played bass on “I want you back” for the Jackson 5 for example and was a saxophonist for The Crusaders 😊

I checked a lot of boutique basses. From Fodera, Sadowsky or Tobias. Think there are personal preferences for to buy a brand. I never was a Fodera guy and so i prefer Brazilian bass luthiers because of there tonewoods and the incredible sound soundquality. M.Laghus from Salvador Bahia was is my first choice.

For me, spending that much money on a bass that’s not a 5 string is a total waste of money.
