Fortnite has been fun recently but there's no denying something has changed. So, I dedicated this video to investigate and how Fortnite has evolved from its original video game roots into a massive platform.

Hate how the Fortnite community dislikes how Fortnite is more than a Battle Royale. Lego, Racing, Festival, Disney, and those leaked Fall Guys and Basketball gamemodes seem fun and a great time if you don’t wanna play Battle Royale

@@KokatsonaI think they mean catering to the pros, lack of focus on story & with Donald Mustard leaving that won’t help that, & the map not feeling like it’s focused on enough, I love Ch5 so far but the map feels way too open lacking pois

the problem is that they are doing it at the cost of what made the game popular in the first place, battle royale. They dont put nearly as much attention into the game as they used to. To newer players it seems like alot, but it used to be much more. They even stopped doing live events every season in order to expand this metaverse that the community doesnt really want.

I can enjoy what Fortnite is yet I don't play it. But I can't appreciate it half as much as TF2. Fortnite is like Brothers Grimm or Disney. Their success is mostly built on business and made IPs by someone else. It's dangling pretty keys. You have to keep dangling new ones with pretty colors or people loose interest. Meanwhile TF2 is basically abandoned but what it made was unique and everything in it. The lore, the characters, the comedic feel and the art style. They didn't steal the "teleport bread for 3 days" or "this is a bucket" from somewhere, THEY wrote that. It's TF2. But in Fortnite. I just see "look vader doing that popular dance. It's the funny, make laugh". It doesn't have the timeless great writing that TF2 made that keeps it still loved and played years later.

fortnite is big because its fun. people don't play because of collabs, and if they do, its for a very short amount of time fortnite got big on its own just by being fun, which then made every brand want to be apart of it, its not the other way around

Everything has a expiration in time. All things in life eventually passes, and fortnites time is almost here. For the message I leave is "pride comes before fall" and the fall is coming. So I say enjoy next season while you can. Because it'll be the last good season we get.

Fortnite will 100% die this year or the next. Its boring, repetitive and has lost its famous cartoony and less detailed graphics. Remember when the sky was literally purple and red every game? Thats so rare now bro.. The map is boring and too big and empty. And to be honest i cant even play more than two games before i get bored. Epic is soo focused on making fortnite like roblox when no one asked for it. You cant make a ball look like a square. Its just impossible. Everyone will always miss the ball. No one asked for this desperate rebrand. Theres just no spice anymore lol. Just sooo boring 😭😭😭

@@antoniomenjivar6556 and streaming isn't the main option (?) for us to see if a game is dying. There games which thrive in the streaming part but are stale or dying in the player counts and the opposite is of course true. Lastly, how you paint the picture is a pretty bad way to see this. If all streamers were streaming gta and no space was left for fortnite, then what would happen to other games, especially the less popular ones.
