When the pastor calls people to come accept a Christ people are under the assumption they accepted Christ as a child and went to Sunday school and therefore are Christians. No sir. The gifts and callings are irrevocable. The disciples were casting out demons BEFORE the Holy Spirit was in them. Many will say, didn't we cast out demons in your name. Judas could cast out demons, heal the sick and raise the dead. You have to love God and have a relationship with him to be a man of God but to have power, even authority, sadly you don't have to be a man of God.

The disciples had difficulty with one. Jesus said they required spiritual preparation before the exorcism. Prayer, fasting. 1st John says we must confess our sins daily and be cleansed of all our unrighteousness by God. So then you face the demon with white robes, no doubt, no guilt, full of faith and grace.

Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, it wasn't the man in Mark 5:6 that was worshipping, it was the demon inside of him. The demon inside the man bowed to Jesus. If that man had been saved as Jesus taught, he would have NEVER had the demon inside of him in the first place. Being oppressed by demons IS something that can happen to the saved, and yet again, only if Christ allows it.

Absolutely agree that every one and demon will bow to the Lord. It can also be argued that the man decided to draw to Jesus at the moment because although every knee will bow, demons will typically try to flee from the Lord instead of running towards him. A demon desires to keep a person possessed and oppressed. If the demon knows that it will be cast back to the hell, I don’t believe it will have any desire to run towards Jesus. Just like with today’s deliverance, people who are possessed and struggle with demon encounters usually will have enough conscious, awareness, and control to make the decision to seek Jesus for deliverance. This still happens today in Holy Spirit filled churches when people draw to the altar for deliverance. And yes, even believers can be demon possessed if they draw away from God and open themselves to demonic activity.

@lovedivinity4076. What you say makes sense. Back in the day, the pastor often did not come out into the sanctuary until it was time for him to preach. Everyone knew he was in his study praying. Back then when pastors prayed, healing was inevitable. And if anyone was faking , he already discerned it. 50 yrs ago I was 24 and diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder. I couldn’t walk (true story) . The prayer team came to my apt. They anointed me with oil and prayed the prayer of faith over me. I was also under spiritual attack. I was delivered - not immediately- but a short time later. I attribute my healing to those faithful prayers because the diagnosis did not come right away. Dr’s did not know what was wrong with me for quite a while. In and out of emergency rooms with chronic pain. Back then we also routinely fasted. Not just the pastoral staff, but everyone. That Pastor was also an educator/administrator. His day job was as an elementary school principal. He believed in teaching the word. We were taught more than we were preached to. Was he perfect? No. But it was a great foundation in my spiritual maturation. Now whenever I’m invited to an assembly I take notes of what the young pastors say to verify it with scripture. Many regularly take scripture out of context. Others are just not that smart. And sadly many are not saved according to scripture either.

I hope a true deliverance minister can help him. He needs to attend a deliverance ministry. Gino Jennings is a teacher.

Yep! Just like any thing on earth. That can be used for medicine. They ain't going to tell you. All the fruit we eat. The leafs can be used for medicine. I had a stroke. My feet swole astronomically. Like any other diabetic. God told me to stop eating potatoes. I did. It took about 3 months for them to go back to normal size. I gave my self ( Chapstick surgery) I had 2 boils come up in the top split of my butt. 2 years apart. The first one was painful. Couldn't sit down. All I had was a few sticks of chapstick. I put some black label chapstick on the area without looking. Lay flat on my face/ belly 12 hours. It Ruptured in my boxer shorts. I never saw it. Put some paper back there and squeezed. True and a person's level of grace. Some demons don't even come out unless you call me by name. People think all you need to say is come out in Jesus name and they forget to talk to them. Heck the man is still a person that can tell you what he's been experiencing which he then could've renounced for him. Heck even use water and tell everyone to reach their hand towards the man to help.

A Christian can have a demon and one can be born again with a demon. The demon or demons most likely flee and if not, deliverance is done again afterwards. When a person gets baptized while demon possessed the demons can and will come out. This is why it's also important to pay attention to your dreams and speak in tongues because God will make you aware via dream what your issue is. After rededicating ones life people often then have dreams of something chasing them or biting them and that's a huge problem that God is making you aware of now that you are closer to him. Which is why people may say once I gave my life to Christ hell broke loose, uh NO you're now closer to him and he's able to make you aware of your issues and demons.

At the very beginning of the man acting out, Gino didn't realize but after questioning him and listening to the mans response that's when Pastor Jennings realized that this man was faking it and sent him back to his seat. There was no demon in him at all but certainly some form of mental issues going on.

Bottom line, unrepentant sin gives demons the legal right to dwell in the body or mind. As a deliverance minister, I recognize that Pastor Jennings was not sure if he could trust the Lord Jesus to deliver this man and/or he had no idea what he was doing. He allowed that man to leave the altar manifesting a demonic spirit. The Pastor did not even ask the man to confess his faith and repent after he recognized the demon did not respond to his commands which means the spirit(s) may have a legal right to be there. To add, many of the men behind him were beginning to manifest also and he could not discern that either.

True Only by Prayer & Fasting! And as we saw demons can't Stop a person who truly wants to be FREE. So, Pastor Jennings spoke to the man and told him to RESIST the devil. What needs to be done now in my opinion is the guy needs to STOP what he's doing in his life maybe drugs, drinking, porn, extreme hatred, etc....all these are calling cards for demons.
