So if I'm a Christian who sins but die before i have a chance to confess that sin do I go to hell? Ive repented of my sins when I accepted the gift of salvation through Jesus, and Ive confessed my sins throughout my life but I died before I could confess the last couple of sins that I did. Do I go to hell as a sinner????

can we say. God, I'm sorry. I confess that I have done a sin that I have forgotten the name of. will he forgive the sin that we have forgotten?

I John also declares that we as Christians sin, we need to admit that we have sinned, confess the sin to God and our advocate, Jesus Christ "is faithful" present tense to forgive us right there and then of our sin when confession to Him is made. "Was faithful" would support Joseph Prince's teaching, but "is faithful to forgive us our sins" shows that the forgiveness of sin when Christians sin is in the present tense when in the present we confess our sin. "Is faithful" means the sin is forgiven at that moment.

I used to listen to Joseph Prince everyday for over a year, but when I heard Hank Hannegraff (CRI) mention this doctrine of non-repentance I began to discern Prince's messages and was convicted of false teachings. J Prince also teaches that grace is a person!

Despite what Joseph Prince says, all of a Christians sins, past, present and future aren't forgiven at salvation. The Apostle John laid down the doctrine of the sin nature and the reality of Christians still sinning after salvation in 1 John 1:8 where John uses the word "we" in that verse to include himself, a Christian, so this verse applies to Christians. In 1 John 1:9, John again uses the word "we" and starts the verse with "If". This means that forgiveness of sin for Christians after salvation is conditional: If we confess, part a, then we are forgiven, part b in 1 John 1:9. No confession means no forgiveness. Period.

Given that if all sins past, present and future have been forgiven by Jesus, according to Joseph Prince, then a Christian who accepts Jesus in 2018 was already forgiven 2,000 years before on the cross, Prince (whether he knows it or not) is teaching that this Christian was saved before they were ever born. This is slight-of-hand predestination being brought into the ranks of non-Calvinist churches. Secondly, John wrote in I John 1:8-10 that if we say that we have [present tense] not sinned, we are deceived and the truth is not in us. In those verses John wrote that present tense sins committed must be confessed. John writes after this that those present tense sins we commit when we commit them we are to confess them and our advocate is faithful and just to forgive [present tense] us."

I used to watch Joseph Prince, until I realized he gave false teaching.

Are we supposed to confess every day to God because he said so or are we just have a ticket to sin and sin and sin

The Apostle John was saved and was present when the Spirit fell in Acts chapter 2. As a Christian, writing later in his life in 1 John, chapter 1 and parts of I John chapter 2 wrote that those who say they have never sinned (and thus have no need of a savior) are just as deceived as those who say they are Christians yet say they have no sin ( say they have no sin nature or say they haven't sinned when they have in fact sinned). The Apostle John lays it out: "If we [John includes himself] say that we have [ John uses the present tense] no sin we receive ourselves [ John includes himself and all Christians] and the truth is not in us [John uses "us" to refer to himself and all Christians. Adding this to I John 1:9, a Christian who sins and refuses to confess sin to our advocate, Jesus Christ (that John also writes about) that Christian shows that the truth is not in them. They unmask themselves (which Paul wrote about) as being false Christians. Their refusal to confess sin they have committed which John wrote needs to be confessed (and John was writing there in I John 1:9 about the saved, not the unsaved) shows them for the phony Christians they are. If Hyper Grace people toss I John chapter 1, they might as well toss the rest of John's writings, namely II and III John, Revelation and John's Gospel. Toss those, and the rest of the New Testament is called into question. I John, chapter 1 alone torpedoes Joseph Prince's teaching and the Hyper Grace movement...

I really agree with your saying, we have to confess ALL our sins everyday, and right away when we sin. don't wait to confess our sins before going to bed, but right away when we sin. if we say we are better than that heresy, we must do what we say and believe. otherwise, we are not better than them. we must confess our sins according to Jesus' standards, not according to our convenient, even if we have a bad thought in our mind, Jesus called that is sin.
