Got my X3 a couple of weeks ago and love it. The touchscreen is way better and faster than the buttons and scrolling on the X1.

I just bought this and used it at a school picture day and it was fantastic. I took over 900 pics and never had one misfire. Before with the past triggers I always had an issue with the trigger blacking out and having to miss shots and to fix it was either turn the camera or trigger off then on again. Best upgrade I’ve done. Great video, so happy to find your channel.

I need to feel buttons , when I'm doing a wedding don't have time to be playing around with a touch screen. Half the time because of muscle memory I don't even look at the buttons on my R2, but that's just me.

I got mine a few weeks ago, and it is is definitely a game changer. I have the older styles of Godox triggers, both the XPro and the X2T, and this is hands down a MUCH better trigger. The main feature I like is how easy it is to do some test shots in TTL, dial it in to my liking, and instantly switch that setting to manual. The XPro could do that also, but it is easier for me with the x3 trigger. I also absolutely love the touch screen. I wear glasses for reading, but this trigger is so easy to see, I can use it without my glasses. Probably the biggest thing about this trigger is how intuitive it is to operate.....it is MUCH simpler than the older triggers. Thanks for posting!

Yeah, it’s really small, but has a guy with big hands I thought it would be an issue, but so far it’s not, just like using my Apple Watch 😊

Everything about this design is a sell for me until you get to non-replicable battery, rechargeable batteries are good for a bit but over time lose their longevity and become unreliable. Also if I am working on a shoot and the battery dies then I am stuck, now according to Godox it can be charged off of your camera, but then I am using precious camera battery power (before anyone says anything I have multiple batteries with me at all times, both camera and flash). As a photographer if there is one thing, I've learned is always have a backup plan, I'm not sure why maybe even using a cr2032 battery or something like that was not an option. Aside from those thoughts great review thank you for the Indepth information and thoughts on the product.

Thank you for your video. The deal breaker for me is the BUILT-IN BATTERY. From my experience, all the NON--INDUSTRIAL-STANDARD batteries at this price range break down in a short time. In other words, they are a waste of money and an environment disaster because when they stop working, I'll have to buy a new trigger and trash my old one. I can't just replace the battery. That's why all of the electronic stuff I own support AC power, power bank, or replaceable batteries.

I find the TCM cumbersome to use. It should have a dedicated button on each group instead of being a global option and with a long press picking the flash of that group. The single press should work like in the V1. Pressing M after is confusing (we need to remember all the time if TCM is enabled in the settings) hence the necessity of a dedicated TCM button on every group. And a dedicated zoom button on every group too The pause button can be replaced by just long pressing the power on a group in the main screen I suggested this to Godox

@@AndreMorganPhotography Also heard the battery feels like it lasts forever on a single charge (I was initially concerned about this). Someone else used it for 5 full sessions and it didn’t even drop 1 bar
