what i love about their relationship is how they act with each other compared to other members. it's kinda odd to see, especially for haechan, because he really really acts so loving towards taeil no matter what, which is odd because haechan is known for being, lmao, "bratty" with other members to tease them and stuff, but he doesn't really do that with taeil.

It's probably because of the age difference and Taeil took care of Haechan in his early years (although all have). Haechan did mention Taeil is his favorite older brother and that Taeil gave him confidence in the glamour friendship test video. Taeil's personality is probably the only one patient enough to handle a whole Haechan plus they adore each other so much, you can see it in their eyes. It's so darn cute; thank God for these interactions.

Liz G It’s not because of the age difference, Haechan jokes around with members such as Taeyong who’s only a year younger. Taeil is quite known for not giving a care about the age gap with his members and letting them feel comfortable around him. It seems that the reason to why he doesn’t joke around with Taeil like he does with others is because Taeil simply doesn’t care and will handle him (like you mentioned later) unlike others. At the end of the day we’re only fans so we don’t exactly know how they are as people lol. But their friendship is truly something that is unique, because of you compare it with other groups then you’ll usually feel like there is some kind of a barrier between the youngest and the oldest while in 127 it flows naturally.

old grandpa mos yea that’s true Haechan is such a sav maknae but that’s what I love about him lol he’s so upfront about his feelings it’s very refreshing. I am sad that we won’t ever get to know them deeply and there is probably so much more to them that we see. Acting can only do so much to conceal one’s nature tho so I have faith that their relationship is genuine, and NCT as a whole and when they react is so precious; I agree with you on that. I am glad Taeil is so chill with his team and as people mention usually the eldest Hyung play a key role in the group’s relationship with one another. It can be out of respect, love, admiration, care, etc. that Haechan doesn’t joke around with Taeil but we’ll never know lol and that’s okay too. And on the age difference thing, Haechan did come to SM very young so I wouldn’t be surprised if he got attached to Taeil because he took care of him when he was younger. The age gap between me and my sis is 5 years apart and we are super close and I dote on her a lot. This is all speculation tho.

Although they have great chemistry, sometimes these ships can cause a strain on their relationships. In some cases the relationship becomes strained. SM will try to keep the ship alive but it just causes discomfort for the boys.

Their bond is so special. Haechan is a crazy kid when he is with dream members. In 127, he is very close to mark and johny, but they are not the type to accept haechan’s aegyo and cuddles. We all know doyoung and haechan has tom and jerry relationship. As for the other members, they mostly reject or ignore haechan’s aegyo because of his bratty personality. Aaaa I love this dynamic so much. During Haechan's recovery from his injury, he said Taeil is the one who checks up on him the most, talking to each other via videocalls and kakaotalks all the time. Taeil is such a caring hyung while Haechan's very affectionate and expressive. Taeil embraces Haechan's affections and Haechan expresses his gratefulness of Taeil that we often see in videos. Never mind that they're also a humorous duo. I think they match pretty well inspite having 6 year of age difference. Our sun and moon ♡ (also, don't sleep on Moon Taeil!)

I absolutely love this two together. Their friendships is so effortless. I think the reason for them to get along so well is because Taeil is just so chill and goes along with Hyuck's jokes and even contributes to them. I know Hyuck stans are grateful that Taeil accepts Hyuck's affection but I'm grateful to Hyuck for showing so much love and affection for uwu Taeil 😭
