It's so frustrating when men go cold. They should just communicate and if not then they should understand that we will walk away when we don't feel valued. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. Far too many have this annoying obsession with "shifting the power balance". The *moment* he tries to make me the pursuer/chaser is the moment I "next" him. Not even my definition of male beauty would be worth role-reversal, let alone a nobody.

It's important to be in a relationship where BOTH parties are mature. It should never get to a point where either person is cold or dismissive towards the other. Having a discussion prior to a relationship, discussing how to address issues/concerns is a great idea. Getting to know the other person's likes and dislikes also will help, which will take communication/time. 🙏🏽

This happened to me recently. I asked the man about it. I asked him if it was something that I said or did. He said no, it's "just life" He told me that he recently went through a divorce and was going through a hard time financially. He's on antidepressants that have messed with his sex drive. We met and had instant chemistry. We had passionate sex. He's poly. I'm monogamous. We both have insecure attachment issues. There's an age gap and physical distance between us. His new partner may have gotten into his head, but in any case... we're not compatible. I do care about him... It's unfortunate. I won't chase him if he's testing me. I have a (little) self-respect. He hasn't communicated with me in weeks. I had to block, delete, and let him go. I knew it wouldn't have worked out long term anyway, the sex was good though...

Many good points, I am tired of trying to read people, I am an honest person and say what I am feeling, not playing games. I am glad that I know the person I can count on is myself and capable of handling life on my own until the right person comes along.

I really need to hear your advice. Thank you! 🙏 Because I’m 54 years old and widow for 7 years. 3 serious relationships before I married at age 35. Still hard to get this right, not gonna lie. I have played it cool, I have chased, acted crazy, ignored with no contact, etc….Knowing my worth. Letting go of co-dependency. Doing me. Letting them do them. Not gonna say it does not stink a little. But you know when it works!!! Period. I think we just want it too bad when we are putting all our energy into it. And we want what we want and don’t like to lose or feel rejected. That’s my biggest thing; the rejection I feel with it.

I completely ignored this video. :) But my Spiritual Guides had other plans. I watched two separate videos on an entirely different subject (medieval history), and when I clicked back to the main page it did not refresh.🤨😅 You immediately started talking which made me look down at the title. I almost kept it moving again, but I was asked to listen. The points you mentioned in the first two topics is my exact situation. Things were going fantastical and then suddenly I could feel the withdraw. We weren't physically together at the time, so I didn't understand what was happening. But energy doesn't lie. I could sense that he was feeling unsure and anxious in spite of the fact that he was clearly enjoying our time spent together and the talks we had. Fast forward a bit and I'm starting to piece a few things together through observation and things being said. And just plain intuition. People do not realize I can literally hear conversations that I was not present for. A male friend, who he has known since childhood has a great deal of influence on him. The friend and I have never met, so anything he says about me is speculative. Then there is his mother and grandmother who are in hopes that he will get back with his ex-wife. This is for financial reasons that I will not get into. Three people who have their own agendas at play, stating God only knows what (based on nothing), about me to him. It eventually came to a head. I told him that while he was a wonderful man and that I did love him immensely (still do), I was not willing to stick around for the drama. I do wish him every wonder thing! Especially the ability to think for himself and decide what is best for him, without giving into manipulative outside influences of friends and family. This I know will be immensely freeing for him mentally and emotionally. Unfortunately, the breakdown of his marriage and childhood trauma (abandonment issues), really did a number on him. Something he is not aware of consciously.

Calling or texting me 4 to 10 times a day, expressing affection, then suddenly nothing…tells me he’s “contending” with his 95 yo mother (he’s 61), all communication stops. I try to text a good morning, thinking of you, praying for you both, etc. but I just get crickets. I want to give him the space he seems to need, and I am but it still puzzling as to the abrupt change. So I’m backing away…it’s hurtful, it’s confusing, and I don’t need this in my life right now.

This world has taught men being or looking weak is a bad thing also they've had past partners that have made them feel as if it's a bad thing that's why you have to have a safe space for the both of you amen amen amen 👏 🙌 🙏 ❤️

I expect MORE from men. Not teenagers, not man-children but MEN. I expect men to communicate clearly, effectively and honestly. I know that life can life the hell out of all of us. I get that. What I look at on television/movies, who I listen to on podcasts/music, who I deal with etc. Very selective.

When talking about dating-not marriage, My experience is when they grow cold it’s essentially over. I’m not talking about cold for a few hours or even a couple days but anything beyond that is they are pulling away. They won’t come back in the way we want and need. Does the reason actually matter???? Nope!! Ultimately the outcome is exactly the same. Either we accept it and let them move along or we resist and try to get them back or make changes or chase them… ect I have dated men that fit all of these examples mentioned in this video but the end of the story is the same!! It’s over and there is no possibility for long term commitment and marriage. It’s sad, it’s hard, it’s frustrating,it’s a waste of our time, it’s hard to not cling on to potential, but again the end result is the same. There will NOT be an end result of long term commitment and marriage.

At the point of hearing how people believe things will not deter a certain man from talking to someone...Many peoole forget about the spiritual warfare that's prevalent, and all of the karmic people who try to attatch themselves with those whom they know they are not meant to be with long term. So yes, there are situations that will TRY to block a man from being with their true soulmate/twin flame..However what is meant to be will be regardless what anything nor anyone tries to do.

I was peaceful and supportive the whole time before that issue and after that issue, but his negativity just really started rubbing me the wrong way and whenever I try to express that to him, he never listen. He just never was good at having serious conversations and that’s how becoming aggressive with him.

Current experience with someone I met, unbelievable chemistry. Ruminating for a week as nothing since we met. I haven't contacted him as I refuse to chase him, I need him to reach out to know he actually wants me. Coming to the conclusion that he's not for me, I am a high value woman who has no problem attracting men, but I wonder if inner work needs to be done to avoid attracting these people 😢

Hi I am enjoying your advice. I literally just found you yesterday. I’ve been dating this guy for two months and he told me he loved me. He saw us together in the future. I was very reluctant to being in a relationship after not being in one for 3 years, but I let my guard down and let them into my heart. We shared many same interest and about past break ups that hurt him and myself. I thought we understood each other well and then he pretty much has ghosted me without any explanation. I noticed "that moment " w/:others & w/ my child's dad( pre-conception.😅). Like the shoe dropping..it's predictable!! 😂 I didn't really like him for long term anyway & could watch the process cause I didn't care. I think it's when the guy "wants something " and your able to provide , & what he's able to do, yet he's been a "good boy" or "his representative" isnt meant for long term. And he's gotta be himself!! And his poo or humanity comes out . LoL

It's been the best, I swear. We're literally best friends. Then all of a sudden he's distant and cold, when I call he ignores, doesn’t send messages, when he answers or calls after so ignoring all my calls he's like "what do you want" and making me feel like I'm bothering him and my mind starts to wander. I try talking to him that I want him to at least send messages and let me know what's going on because of how it makes me feel. One time he was like "I don't take you for granted, I love you" but then he continues not sending texts. I understand that he's really stressed from work and school but stress shouldn't destroy your relationships. I've always encouraged openness in the relationship. Everything you said about "Stress and Overwhelmed" is exactly what is happening.

So true...some people just DO NOT know how to mind there own business, which is why it is always SO IMPORTANT to keep boundaries in place with others when it comes to ones personal business. Unfortunately everyone does not mean you well, whether if it is kinfolks or not. It really is very sad, but such is the way of the world.

My ex husband could not empathize with me when i had a problem, or deep concern. It was a huge blow, and many times i felt like i was alone in the relationship. So it was not a big leap to be ok with being alone, when things got worse, and we were forced to separate.

I am a successful woman. He is younger and I give him more credit than he deserves. I can’t call him if my electricity is out. He is never available for me. I understand that we live an hour away. I would like for him to pick up the phone. I am out. That’s all I need to know.

The only time I felt a really strong connection to someone he ended up doing this after helping in a situation. We were together when I was 15-17. So I didn't get this so when he became distant I felt I had to get out. He wanted to get married and everything. I still wish I would have handled that differently. Maybe one day we will cross paths again. I saw him once after 17 years and he had a big reaction I got scared and walked off.

Sounds like puppy love, adolescent infatuation. A childish or youthful infatuation with another person. Grown men and women communicate to understand each other. Love should be intentional and transparent if it’s real love. Communication is most important, a lack of communication causes distance when love isn't intentional. Love is intentional, anything less isn't love.

I agree with the last advice you gave towards the end, which should have been the first advise, in my humble opinion.

This happened to me when I found out I was pregnant and then I found out he was cheating when our daughter was 14 months old. He ended up staying with her and is still with her. Our daughter is now 3 and it left me completely broken and this was 6 years into our relationship and we were best friends before since we were kids. I suffered bad postpartum depression and anxiety and from that I started experiencing focal seizures. And let me add that he’s doing to her what he did to me. Cheating. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want to be with her because he continues to say he doesn’t want to be with her and is ending things but has not. I feel like he might feel pressured to be with her by his sister since that’s her best friend and pressured by his mother.

he said he want me to feel how he feels…. mind you when we went places i always finding myself avoid situations he put us in with other women that he knew or didn’t know. and the ex he slept with had been communicating with sexually the time we were committed. he has been stuck in the past since before we started dating with women yelling, he talked and griped about it so much that when he was aggressive with me i did the same to him. i noticed i was doing that and corrected the issue but he is still on women yelling even when im not it’s like he like staying in the past i had been telling him to leave and he didn’t want to or be friends without sex and when i introduced him to the guy as a friend he antagonized me for 3 months about him as a friend when i never slept with the guy meanwhile he’s still in contact with his ex. so yea i slept with the guy came home and called him to tell him and not date he wasn’t tryna leave so if we become a couple after that you can’t be bringing up old stuff

I can handle myself and do. So what am doing with this man?
