I left a 6 year relationship a year ago and never looked back. I still loved him but I felt empty in our relationship, plus I'm a happy person and he was bringing my happy down and I couldn't let that happen. My advice is to stop making it a choice for them to leave you alone and just leave and don't look back no contact. Best of luck everyone.

This video is very inspirational. I've left a 13 and half year relationship, and truly have encounter the horrific experience of completely being strip of my happiness while in the presence of my narcissistic ex. Having the ability to now analyze, my vibrations being higher without interruptions of my happiness when he wasn't around, was a wake up call that this man wasn't who God ordain for me to spiritually have has an equal yoke.

Sometimes they don't let go because the situation benefits him. this doesn't always mean sex or sex alone. Sometimes we as women give more than we are getting from them, which is why we end up feeling so drained in the end. They have been benefiting the whole time because we love them and that's why they can't let go. Out of the selfish reason of what they will lose out that they have been getting from us, be it support, validation, food, sex, comfort etc etc.

Sometimes you just have to experience the pain of letting go in order to heal yourself. It's ok to put yourself and your mental health first. If someone loves it your gut will tell you. You won't have to question it, he's consistent with it. Love isn't supposed to hurt or make you feel crazy.

Most times the pain of letting go is what's actually NEEDED. Because once you go through that pain. You will never look back! & you will always remember that painful feeling. Too many times. People avoid that pain by holding onto to something that will hurt them even more in the long run. When in reality they will loose it inevitably.

People often confuse a bruised ego with a broken heart and because of that they find it hard to let go of their partners. I believe the reason why polygamy is so popular is because it justifies these half-hearted co-dependant relationships. I'm a very nurturing person and I seem to attract many men who are unconscious of their codependency issues. I struggled with boundaries in the past but now I'm much better. I might be able to see his issues but it's not my job (nor any other woman) to connect the dots for him, that's his work to do.

I really needed this video. I’ve been in a relationship for 5 years and decided to end things because I had so much on my plate and no help from my partner. I broke things off with him and now he doesn’t want to let go. He’s been saying all the right things trying to get me back but I haven’t seen any actions. He keeps saying he’s putting himself all out there for me but all I’m hearing is words and seeing no actions. Now to me I feel like he’s trying to make me feel bad because he wants affection from me and I’ve been saying I need actions before I’ll even allow myself to be affectionate. I really needed these words and definitely buying your book.

I have been with a man that was married when I meet him, and I knew that but I was using him for my own selfish reasons! I was young and using drugs and alcohol and I didn't have to be bothed with him always, because he had a wife! I end up with this man for 15 teen yrs.we have a son together and I stayed because I didn't think I could make it without him supporting us! I stayed because it was comfortable,I was use to him beening there! When I tried to leave him 15 teen yrs. later he tried to kill me because I want to leave,he was still married and I wanted to be with someone that might marrie me! It took sending him to jail for six months, he got out and I guess he moved away! He has not seen our son since that's been 2010, when I left him he said our son was not his! We are still living a Blessed and Wonderful life without the drama! God is our provider and always will be!🙌❤️

I was in a situation just like this.., where the guy was holding on and didn't want to move on. I noticed that it must be a skill of his to keep multiple women in his life because he moves around the US. At first it was difficult to figure out why he ghosted on the weekend, and sometimes during the week. I broke it off, he kept figuring out how to come back, but he wasn't truly present. This guy had a skill set in the game I had never seen before, he knew how to handle the relationship just right, one time I told him he was a master at the game, but I saw it clearly he only talk certain times of the day - never after 7 pm, then spend one day a week, never really connect you to anyone in his circle, but always give you full attention when he is talking to you like you were important. So I flip the script, I told him I could only talk to him on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, he finally quit. LOL

Man... I seriously did not want to hear this but I needed to. Situationship of five years here. I was hella far from perfect in the relationship and some of my behaviors were way less than desirable, but I know I gave it one hell of a try. He refused to commit because in his words, "we didn't have the same values". Funny how he says when the truth is (my truth) was he was ashamed of me cause I was older. The cycles of idealization, devaluation, and discarding has been on repeat every time he became interested in another woman. Yet every time I walked away, he hoovered. Until recently... Truly sad that someone can be like that.

I don't agree, every relationship is different and once married we should always exhaust every Avenue to repair what is not wrong, Women make decisions on their emtions which isn't always the best way to make such an important decision. I have come out of a 23 year relationship and I absolutely adored my wife. I was complacent but not because I didn't care or love her but because she never communicated her needs. I have looked back at my behavior and can see my faults and take my responsibility for my part. 2 years on and much anxiety and stress and sadness, I am still deeply in love with my now ex-wife. Sometimes it takes a breakup to make it work and to improve the relationship. I would now make a much better partner due to this breakup and live in hope that it is back with my wife. Sometimes that second chance pays off

@@inserter400 I hope since you have learned from this, there’s a chance to reunite with your ex wife. If not, that it makes you better in your future relationships. I know for me it took a long time to get me to the point of not wanting or loving after 31 years. Women, especially my generation, will try to keep their marriage. Keep hoping that things will get better and have retirement years to enjoy. Kids grown and time to rekindle or even better this time together. So, for me I’m done. If I didn’t give everything in this amount of time. There’s nothing else. But, for me to enjoy the rest of my God given life.

I am 49 and my wife is now 48, my wife went through midlife crisis and became bored and unhappy with our marriage, I am much to blame for the boredom as I didn't see she needed dating as shr was always out with friends. I waz a more homely person. We hit a spiral in 2017 and she becamme futher and futher out of love with me, I panicked and started being something she never saw before, very needy and insercure. It was a terrible time and lasted for years, infact before the end of 2019 she had asked for a separation. I couldn't believe the way she had turned on me, from a love sick teenager to a completely cold hearted bitch. Her behavior just made me worse with anxiety, I knew what I had to do but I was just too ill to show my strong side. I had always been her mountain her rock but with this , I just crumbled. I am doing no contact (he told me to leave him alone and to let him live his life) so I respected that. I lost 40 pounds in two months and I sent a picture to his mom (we get along really well) she must’ve showed him because he’s been calling me and I don’t want to speak to him. I’m putting me first. I’m starting not to gaf and that’s the best feeling ever. Find yourself first and the right person will come along one day.

I am trying really hard to detach from this individual but he does not let me go. This makes it even more difficult for me because I love him. I am honestly seeking medical help from a psychologist for this. It is affecting my mental health and I feel really overwhelmed and I told him that I cannot continue to be with him. I believe this to be a form of emotional abuse. I believe that this is a case that touches points to what you mention in your video. I think he has formed a sexual attachment with me and also he does not want to see me with another man. I don't believe that he truly loves me.

I'm sick of this shit. I'm not happy at all. He promised me so many things at the start, talked about having kids, said he'd move me to his area and provide for us and 'hope I can give you everything you deserve' .... Weeks later his communication changed and was giving me breadcrumbs and hit me with the "im really stressed and busy". And it's been different ever since and I've just been leaving it as is. Not chasing him I'm just sitting here waiting.... I think by Christmas I'll end it.

I had an interesting situation where I realised that the man I was with for five years couldn’t let me go but didn’t want to be with me fully either. It was nutty. Finally, I actually moved on but still had an attachment to him where I wanted to stay friends. He kept arguing that I just couldn’t leave him alone so I went all out and said to him: “ All right, tell me what you need me to do to assure you I’ve moved on?” He just couldn’t give me a proper answer. It was actually HIM who couldn’t walk away from me and kept creating scenarios where we’d still end up together, one way or another. But I finally decided that I had to block him on everything I possibly could to prove to him I’ve moved on. He’s probably still in shock that I’ve actually moved on, but… He needs to seriously address his issues otherwise he’ll never have a healthy and functional relationship with anyone, least of all with himself.

And then of course I started cracking up and saying “Jesus, thank you for the immediate, obvious answer, but that was funny how You made that pop up right away as soon as I thought about talking to You about it.”🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for spreading His message to us, Stephan!!

I'm presently trying to get my son father out my life. He is constantly sneaky and lying. Talks the worst about me, the whole package. I presented him with proof of him making plans to be with someone else because I went over to my mother and sister's home. He said it's all my fault and yet refuse to leave me alone .

Really, these men you're describing need to turn back to and cultivate their relationship with The Most High. That is the only thing that will fill these voids and correct these disconnects and holes in their souls that are preventing them from being the men they should be in their relationships. We as women need to look to Him as well. No human being can heal the deep hurts 💔 that are preventing people from showing up properly in these dysfunctional relationships. And some people just need to mature and grow up. Be truthful before committing to the relationship. These relationships are doing a lot of damage in people's lives.

I love when I hear that I’m going in the right direction in my life. I always seek God in my life because I’ve made wrong decisions in my past. And I know God knows best for me my ladder will be greater than my beginning!! Thank you Lord!!🙏🏾

Was in a 3yr relationship. Due to addiction, it went toxic and abusive. He sobers up and is trying so hard to prove he can be the man he thinks I want. He refuses to accept that my trust is gone despite trying to convince me that trust can be rebuilt. The wounds run too deep and I can’t do it. Then goes on and on about how he “understands I need a lot of time.” Ugh!! The man refuses to let go. Thing that sucks is he is still in my house while he tries to find a place to live. It feels like torture and I wish he would just leave! I know he loves me, but addiction coupled with mental health issues ruined him and I can never not live in fear if I made the mistake of keeping him. I refuse to live like that.

I had the same guy story. He's out, but tries to hang onto me. The reality might be sinking in finally. Between his alcoholism, his toxic family past of abuse and neglect, and his focus on taking care of himself at my expense, I can't tolerate another moment of that BS. He doesn't know how to manage on his own. He grew dependant on my competancy and benefits. Yet, he never once apologized or made any attempt to get it right with me. Just a child in a man's body.

@@susanparker9877 indeed. Men who never grew up. My ex was equally dependent and struggled to adult in so many ways. Now that he is out of my house and I’m free from his abuse, I have never been happier.

This was a great video that sheds light on a situation I’m in. He values me, enjoys aspects about me, he cares about me, but for whatever reason the connection is not enough for him nor is it there for him to give me commitment. I think he does not want to be the bad guy, and he genuinely cares. This also still hurts because I’m still trying to work Through moving on from him. I’m praying to God to give me guidance, bc this is a situation that has grown out of my control to make any sense of it. Thank you for this great video!

Why he won't let go? He's lonely, or he uses you for sex, or he uses you for feminine company (the female touch, etc.), or he gets bored, or he likes you as a friend, or it saves him money since you aren't demanding expensive dinners, or you're good for nights when he doesn't feel like bar hopping to find a woman, or to prevent you from finding someone else, or because he can talk to you like you're a therapist, or because you compliment him so feed his ego.
