even though Phir Hera Pheri (2006) casted more great comedians like J Lever, R Yadav, Manoj Joshi ..etc ... to make the movie more funny --- Hera Pheri (2000) remains a classic - because of its simplicity & realism 👍

Comedy films trivia : Hera pheri was remake of Malayalam classic comedy "Ramji rao speaking"1989 which itself loosly based on a 1971 tv movie called " see the man run" . But the comedy element and charatcters in herapheri is more inspired from Ramji Rao speaking. The Malayalam film was also blockbuster with two sequels . Infact most of priyadarshan films are remakes . Priyadarshans best films remains his earlier malayalam films like " poochakoru Mookuthi" ( again meme material), chithram ( Mohanlal brilliant acting) , oppam and offcourse the impressive Kanchivaram. But the guy is immensely unpredictable with delivering some huge failures too . Neeraj Vora also wrote screen play and dialogues for many Priyadarshan film and was the creator of play aflatoon which was adapted by rohit shetty as Golamaal.

Dry comedy ke baare mein tumlogo ko abhi pata chala hai. Hollywood mein toh kitne films Hera Pheri ke concept par ban chuki hai. Ek baar Hangover series jaake dekho. Like Sardar Udham Lekin original stories pe focus karne ke alawa ye log bas south films ka sasta remake bana rahe hai. Tumko kya lagta hai? Hera Pheri original movie hai bollywood ki? Hera pheri ko remake of malayalm movie kehne se hera pheri degrade nahi hone wali ... It will remain a cult classic... But uske zariye someone can come accross malayalm films ... See, both Hera Pheris are GOAT in their own ways While first one was more relatable and had better charecter traits second one has more memorable charecters, funny dialogues and entertainment factor.. and as said by you, It has both dry humour and Slapstick comedy.. I equally love both the movies ❤❤ And Yes Kachra Seth is such an Iconic charecter.. I can even watch him with mute and laugh out loud.. Manoj Joshi has done proper justice to the role.. fortunately or unfortunately people now less remember him for His Best role ever - Chanakya, and more for Kachra Seth ❤

Housefull ka part 1 was amazing, part 2 was also a bit funny but not that good, aur part 3 part 4 to zabardasti k sequels hain bas.
