Why Hikaru is being ACCUSED of cheating

The previous chess world champion Vladimir Kramnik has just suggested that Hikaru Nakamura may be cheating. This video will catch you up on the context and watch some of Hikaru's games to both learn some chess, while deciding for ourselves if this suggestion has any claims.

kramnik put out an interesting study on those titled thoesdays and top players. take a look at it. he didnt show the names yet( he promised to do it later) but apparently hikaru is one of those sus players. if it doesnt point on cheaters its cool on its own cause it shows players suddenly get ELO boost in the last game up to almost 300 points. where usual deviation of same players during other games is 50 points. and it happened through the year its not only one tournament he study. so kramnik might be wrong but hes not crazy

with the second game some of the moves you said were like an engine just seemed normal, the first king move after the second bishop swings in was forced, after the rook check the king really only has two squares to go to and since the light sq bishop is trapped of course the king slides to the light square

Yeah you're right, it was more about how Hikaru would allow those complications with the initial pawn sac. It's very engine like to sac pieces like that because of a very specific line, but since the moves were forced as you mentioned that would have made it easier for him to calculate

Nah. The moves look completely normal to me. Engine usually prefers to open a second front many a times. And focus of moves was mostly on fundamental ideas of the openings. Hikaru is just so good at openings..
