Not many artists can go from gracing the stage at New York's legendary Blue Note with a full jazz band to recording dance records with the likes ofNicodemuss, No Regular Play as well as performing in front of thousands at Vienna's Donauinselfest. STIMULUS does it effortlessly. The Brooklyn born MC and DJ was discovered by Mark Ronson, who recorded and produced his first demo. Stimulus went on to release his debut solo MC project on Universal. Versatility describes his talents best. From Vogue's designer of the year dinner to Le Bain to Nike's open-air celebration of the World Basketball Championship's in Turkey, Stimulus is always on point as a DJ. Prior to his career in music, Stimulus, then referred to by his government name Ian Lawrence, worked in retail as an account executive for Puma. This guy is intresting. He knows well what he is doing, and devote himself to it. It is not common for an engineer to say "I want to be a great inventor and change the world", or a kid saying he would like to be somebody. But that guy really talks about the change that he could make, and that makes sense somehow.

@@montbrink4700 That's some naive talk. I live in Canada where there are no ghettos and we don't have the history of slavery and Jim Crow. The majority of blacks up here only arrived in the 60s and 70s from Africa and the Caribbean. Many of the young guys I grew up with got into to drug dealing and gang culture. How do you explain this given that we didn't experience the same conditions as our African-Americans counterparts?

@hollow 20 they can be their own cultures but still be recognised on a world stage, which also makes them global cultures! 🤷🏻‍♀️ This is a natural process, like non-Scottish people wearing tartan and non-tribal people getting tattooed. All cultures end up being shared eventually, that doesn't make tartan any less Scottish or tattooing any less tribal. 🤙🏻
