Bro, I was AVID Media Composer user for long time in early 2000, now i shift to DR or AP. Avid was popular in 90s bcoz for camera use to record on Tapes or Film, but today who use these 2 media, which is cosltly to produce. Now almost all camera records on Memory based media, so no need of Tape player or Telecine conversion. Hollywood is using Avid Media Composer even today bcoz they have invested heavily in Network storage hardware which is AVID owned propriety system. I remember they had many other softerware like AVID DS, Symphony, Avid Newscutter...Now they stopped updating & they are in loss.

Why there are no latest tutorials on Avid Media composer? I found only one latest channel even he is not providing detailed information about this software. Even on this channel tutorials are one year old. On official website of AVID, they even don't have latest tutorials about media composer. I am an expert in Premiere pro and Resolve and I wanted to learn media composer too but I think i cant because of lack of latest tutorials. Perhaps this is the reason why very less percentage of people still uses media composer and others simply like to use other editing software like Premiere, FCP and Davinci resolve.

"media composer first" is freely available on the official website of avid, its basic version is officially free. But please keep in mind that Avid is different from other software, for instance importing footage is a whole different process.
