Dr. Cloud previously talked about looking back on the last year with kindness in the last highlight. In this highlight, he asks, “What’s your vision for the future?” People that have a specific vision are statistically much more likely to reach that goal than those that don’t have it. Dr. Cloud focuses on the importance of getting hopeful about our vision, but what does that mean? It means that you need to believe that the thing you’re trying to achieve can be done. We have science and the bible on our side. Science says we must have a clear goal. The Bible says to have a vision, and know where you are headed. The number one factor in whether you will achieve your goal is that you must believe that it can be done. Sometimes it is so hard for us to believe it's possible because we are stuck in our own experience. Dr. Cloud shows us how we can help us break out of that mindset and accomplish new things.
