I lived through hurricane HUGO.... it was the most frightening experience watching trees bent over at 45 degree angles then ripped straight up into the air, dozens of bright blue horizontal lightning bolts zooming across the entire pitch black sky illuminating the ghostly looking clouds, winds so strong that windows roofs and cars were blown to pieces, rain so hard it hurt like a dog bite, as people were crying & screaming while huddled inside a dark wet church with half a roof for hours on end. When the daylight finally returned, Charleston was mostly destroyed.

@flex tape just because it's estimated to be a cat 4 upon landfall doesnt mean it wont weaken to a cat 1 in no more than 24 hours, i mean by the time it gets to the middle of the state and the west coast it wont be more than a cat 1. Plus this is florida, we've been through worse. I personally, am not worried about it tbh.

It shouldn't be as bad as a Category 5, it should at least weaken down to a Category 3 before it hits Oahu. We should be praying for Big Island, as they got hit by the hurricane when it was a Category 5.
