Batteries are very expressive and after more consumption their cycles will be completed and we have to replace them at high cost. And I think batteries are helpful at load shedding but shifting from wapda to batteries i think electricity from batteries will be more expensive than wapda. Please guide if I am wrong.

sabsa best off grid hai din ko sara load use kro or batry b charge ho jati hai light jany ka b issue nh hota q ka green meter hota hi nh hai jab tk sunlight ha apka solar chalta hai or raat ko ap wapda use karty ho or agr light chli jye to batry use hoti ha

best option for those who have a On-Grid system already installed, is to have a Off-Grid backup. I have a 10KW On-Grid System, and now am exploring the option to have a 10/15KW Off-Grid Inverter with 6KW solar panels.

You should provide the total cost per unit of power generated over the 10 year span. Hybrid with lithium battery vs on-grid. That would be fair comparison.

Thanks once again for uploading I have installed the 06KV Hybrid solar system my daily consumption is about10~1Kv without batteries (being confused about which one to install i.e., tubular or lethiamine being costly} and without net metering, as I am living in a rented house availing only daylight energy saving it seems not proper ROI. My apologies for the confusion. One unanswered question that you might have is: What type of batteries should you install, considering the cost and ROI of the solar system? from Rawalpindi.

Investing too much in hybrid system is premature optimisation imo, unless money is not a factor for you of course. I still think having an on-grid system is better, as of now, if you know the limitation; and once those limitation start to create real issue for you (e.g. net-metering is banned or no longer has any benefit); then you can simply replace that with off-grid inverter, also knowing, what additional costs does that system comes with.

bhai aap ki video kafi informative thi , mazeed aap per unit cost off grid and on grid calculation ki video bhi banay normal 230 amp tubuler battery life for three years also adjustment of scrape battery after three years. mera khayal hay off grid ka unit sasta ho ga with 24 hrs availibity.

You are right. However, major problem is stupendously high cost that a consumer would have to bear to install a hybrid system. Deep cycle batteries are costly and even its charge controller/ inverter is also way too costly as compared with on-grid system

Dear Brothers, need your kind advice please. I have recently installed a 6kw solary system through a vendor in Peshawar. We have installed a Solax 6kw Hybrid Inverter with 12 N-Type A grade 585w solar panels (which makes it a 7kw). We have not installed a battery yet because there is only 3 hours of loadshedding in my area during the day time (and I ran out of budget as well). It shall be noted that I have only two 1.5 ton Full DC inverter ACs, a normal size fridge, 3 ceiling fans (60w), and some light. The average load of the house is around ~3.5kw. Suppose at 10:56am when the solar system is producing power at peak level, it would be supporting the entire load of the house and even exporting some to the Green Meter as well (which is yet to be installed). Now the problem is that as the grid goes off at 11am (loadshedding), the inverter would trip and would show DCBUS_SW_UVP error on it. It then restarts and immediately trips again and continues unless I manually go and switch off the both ACs and the Fridge. I contacted the vendor many times and they visited many times but could not fix it. Today they shared that it is the nano-second torque of the ACs, and probably the Fridge, that trips the inverter and does not let it the PV's increasing flow to the inverter. They recommended that you should install (min 48v) battery/batteries to help with the torque to have the system running and pass through without tripping. Can you please help? What should I do?

Why don't you mention the cost of lithuium batteries while doing this comparison? If someone has running load of 5kw during night time for 12hrs, how much lithium batteries backup would he need and how much is it going to cost? and how long after he'll have to change those batteries? etc.. Once we have that number then we can really compare it with on-grid; since the price is going to be many-fold. So its not about only buying the expensive inverter one-time. If price is not a factor; then hybrid is better of course. But price is always a factor 99.9% of the time.

Brothers, we have 5 kw hybrid system in Gujranwala with ordinary (truck) batteries and now its almost 3 years now, batteries are still have 80 ℅ ability to perform, I think it depends on how you utilize your system, hybrid is the best way 👍👍

Thank you for the information. What about a zero export device? a device that prevents excess power generated by solar panels from being sent back to the grid. And pray tell why you keep switching opinions from On-grid to Hybrid? LiFePO4 (Lithium Ion Phosphate) batteries are the safest (won’t burn your house down) and start at Rs.500k. Nominal life warranty should be 7 years minimum. Thus increasing the Solar System’s total cost of ownership.

It uses solar first in case of grid outage. Inverters usually have option to either prioritize charging battery, or running load when both pv and grid are available

You need an AVR (Automatic voltage regulator). It's like an improved version of a stabiliser. It will keep your voltage at 220 and also protect your appliances from surge. Most of Pakistan has the same problem as yours.

Zabardast!! I do have a hybrid system. Please talk about lithium batteries, are there any 10, 15 or 20kw lithium batteries available in Pakistan. I am currently using 5kw lithium battery in my system. I use it as a self consumption system and run load on battery at peak hours, my 5kw battery lasts around 7 to 8 hours with 20% left for loadsheding. Thanks!

Approx 600 to 700 watts of load runs on battery. I don't run my air conditioner on the battery, but if I move to 10 or 15KW battery packs, I will run my AC on it as well.

I disagree, There is higher cost of Hybrid system because of Batteries involved. Also OnGrid system is best in cities or societies where there is close to 0 loadshedding. We live in Bahria Enclave Islamabad which has close to 0 loadshedding, Everything was known to us before installing 10Kwh on grid system
