The RS never had the motor issue. It was the 3.8. RS all had the 4.0.

Shipping his car from America to Germany for a track day is crazy Maybe rent one at the ring and drive it. If he gets the same car, it’s not that different than if he brought his, and way cheaper than shipping a car back and forth just to drive an over rated track

The 992 version of the GT3 RS is such a step on from the 991.1 and 991.2. That double wishbone front suspension and improved aero make an enormous difference. Of course everyone that owns a 991 version like to pretend that version was the best, but Porsche is an engineering company that is always pushing the boundaries…..so while I prefer the simpler interior of the 991 like many others do too, there is no denying the driving experience is next level

Going from the 991.2 GT3 to 991.1 RS is a bit of a down grade , I was going to do it also but I could not I have to upgrade to the 991.2RS and never looked back ,its the best RS that can do everything You need to get a clean 991.2 RS and you won't sell it.
