In this video, I'll be sharing why I can't stand making Cleveland Browns videos on the Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show. From the latest news to player updates, find out why covering the Browns is a challenge for me on this channel!
In another annual rite of the NFL offseason, CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco has Cleveland Browns fans up in arms. To be fair, such lists are difficult to compile, and it is nearly impossible to please every fan base. And every analyst and writer worth his mettle tries to exhibit some twist that sets him apart from the others. Prisco’s twist appears to be that he knows nothing about the Cleveland Browns. It is the only way to explain some of his choices and omissions. Some fans will be happy to see more than an equitable share of players on Prisco’s list.
But Cleveland landed 10 players on the more-objective PFF best position players lists just on offense. So it is no surprise Prisco’s 5 from both sides of the ball comes up short of satisfying most Browns fans. Kudos to Pete Prisco for recognizing Myles Garrett as a top 3 NFL player heading into 2024. As for the rest of your choices and omissions like Denzel Ward, David Njoku, Jeremiah Owusu Koramoah, Joel Bitonio, and Amari Cooper well, you knew what was coming.

The Browns have legitimately top 5 players at at least 3-4 positions (Garrett, Chubb, Bitonio and Ward).

And, sadly, Bull is right on that account about JOK and Njoku; they have to do it a 2nd year. That said...they definitely will. Teller will be as well, now that he won't have to babysit newbie tackles.

I agree. I am a big Garrett fan, but I'm looking for him to be more than just a pass rushing specialist, so to speak, and anyone putting him at NUMBER 2 in the ranking of the top hundred players in the league is laughable. Sorry, he's a great player, but number TWO ranked in the entire LEAGUE????????? He didn't even lead in ANY defensive category last year and some people raised their eyebrows when he was picked for DPOY over Watt. Chubb is a huge question mark and we probably won't see him until at least halfway through the season. The others? Okay. I personally think the secondary is overrated, but we shall see.

G Bush I watch the 80’s games as well!! Me and my friends attended the Browns vs. Jets playoff game circa’1986….arguably the best Browns playoff win in Browns history.

The Browns in the eighties were scary good. I was born and raised in Buffalo and was still living there (before moving to the Cleveland area) and we'd watch those teams - with THAT defense - and they were literally terrifying to watch. THAT was bruiser football. They always talk about the Bears and Lions being in the "black and blue" division, but I'd put the eighties' Browns and Steelers up against ANYONE for smash mouth, bruising football. This from a Bills fan. (Browns too though).

I can't wait for football. Only a few more weeks. I know it's just training camp and pre season, but at least we can see the beginning of the season starting. Should be a lot of fun this season. I HOPE anyhow.

That's the beauty of it though; you don't want three or four guys sitting around nodding in agreement about everything. I don't think Bull or any of the other guys aren't "for" the Cleveland Browns, but they are playing devil's advocate. Deep down we ALL want them to do well, for more than a few reasons. It makes for entertaining and interesting content. I'd hate to see and listen to a bunch of guys patting each other on the back and agreeing over EVERYTHING. Nothing wrong with good old fashioned discussion and disagreements, as long as they are civil. Let's face it; it's their jobs to do that.

G. BUSH , THANK YOU for finally calling out the numnutz producer @ 7:55 of your show. Your Barber shop is on point, because you can speak and you're educated about football. That producer has absolutely no control for where segments go, or can go, and he always speaks over the panel. He knows nothing about football, and especially basketball. The show is unwatchable at times due to the arrogance of Bull and numnutz. G. BUSH gets interrupted more than he gets time to speak. Earl gets absolutely no respect. That producer will never allow the panel to shine, especially when he is more concerned about speaking, and putting himself on the panel. It's hilarious how much of a joke he is as a producer, seriously. When he sits in for Crawford or anyone, the show suffers drastically.

I became very interested in the Browns off season back around when Josh Gordon was lighting up the league. All I have seen for the past ten years or so is all of us saying we will be good, and then we are not. You have to win the division to even say anything.

Huge fan but i disagree woth a couple things u said. Obviously it's only my opinion lol. I disagree with ur assessment on Foreman. I think hes gonna start, and idk y he cant have the bulk of the carries until Chubb comes back. Hes a lot more than just a short yardage back IMO. Hea played on terrible teams and terrible O lines. Imagine him behind this line?!?! And the other thing is i think Hall jr is gonna see more time then people think. His play is gonna force playing i believe. I also think Watson is gonna be a monster at lb. Really high on that kid!
