I 100% agree with your points. People often say "You can work 3 or 4 years and do an MBA." But the hard part is that people from non-business backgrounds are having a hard time to gain the "right" experience for MBA applications. Even if people can make a transition, it takes a lot of time. This situation is kind of punishing those who did a "wrong" degree in university (I mean the degree that is not directly profitable, I hope you understand what I'm trying to say haha). Changing the industry is not easy, especially for those from literature or social science backgrounds. However, an MIM is more generous, and people can thus change their industry and reset their career paths. I love the flexibility and opportunity given by such a pre-experience degree.

Any thoughts on social integration and language barrier? Do you think you would have had it much easier in the USA or is it really not that much of a difference in the long run?
@MayankSehgal
@MayankSehgal 2 жыл бұрын
Without a doubt much easier in the US. I lived in the US for half a year and I definitely found it way easier. But social integration only goes so far when your visa situation is unstable..

I've recently completed my graduation (bcom) and I'm a fresher. I want to get into management. Which would be better option(in terms of ROI) for better career n lifestyle ? .. preparing for CAT n other exams and try to get into IIM and other top B-schools in India ? or preparing for ielts,gmat etc and try to get into better University for MIM Abroad ? .. My academics : class 10-7.8 cgpa , class 12-65% and bcom -6.5 score and which would be more easier to get into ?

planning to pursue a ms in finance ,very confused choosing between Usa and france, Usa there no language barrier and my course is a stem 1 along with having many financial hubs Usa is a good option, downside is instability of h1b visa and cost is higher than france,paris france is also a financial hub everything about france suits my criteria but the con is how much does the language barrier affect everyday life and job opportunities available to someone who doesn't speak French please guide me if you can on this topic ,since this is the only thing holding me back from applying to france

@@praveengeorge8413 1) Yes, in India 2) Can't tell you if it was due to language as Europeans get a job easily without French skills. Also, I was in IT where most work is done in English. 3) I never got an interview call while in France. 4) Economy Of Europe is not good, and lots of Indians don't get a job. The USA is still the best option for masters.
