Etsy is an extremely arrogant company.

I totally agree. My shop is 3 months old and I almost got scammed and actually responded to a scam message. Because they used the Etsy logo. and I was furious at Etsy but luckily because I'm very aware of scammers I didn't go through it and double check the email. and the only thing that Etsy said when they responded is send the email to scam or trash folder.

I had it happen to me a few weeks ago when I opened a second account. I've been selling on etsy for years and never had a problem. Got an email when I was in the new etsy account asking for banking confirmation info. As I was in etsy I didn't realize it was a scam. Have info and within seconds my bank had shut down my card as 2 purchases happened for 190.00 one in Singapore the other in cypress. Had to get a new bank card an I immediately closed the new account. So it is an attack on new sellers. Beware. It starts as soon as you list a couple of items.
