Have you read the history of us-mx relations? Usa is the biggest consumer of almost every product. So in your logic, the states are responsable for every industry in the world. Read about Alta California and the Mexican American war and land grants and stuff like that. The relationship is way better than that now but could’ve been way worse. The American government sends billions of dollars every year to Mexico. What are we talking about here? Like what!?!? I was wondering about this too, but I've heard a lot about cartel, and cartel imposters, harassing business owners for payment to have a business. I'd like more real time information about this. That said, I'd rather pay some money to a gangster than pay over 40% taxes to the Canadian government for things that aren't a good use of tax money.

Get a union job with a good pension payout. I've been a bus driver for 15 years, I started late, and I'm 54. At 55 (minimum retirement age) i "can" retire and collect $2500 for having only worked 16 years? I plan to stay on til age 60 for around $3500, and I still get Social Security at 62 or later. I'm willing to bet a union RN Nurse would do better! It may not be the the fun or flexible job, but there's no having your cake and eating it.

I know Jordan doesn't like to talk about politics or religion, but in this case I need to address the political issues and human nature present in everybody I've ever met worldwide, because it's a big part of this conversation topic. I hope this is read and taken with the kindness that I have in my heart as I'm typing it. I recently watched a female comedian joking about why western people call themselves expats while the rest of the world are called immigrants. When I first heard the word expats I had no idea what it was, and I think it's a very bad habit that should end immediately. If I move to a different country I'll make sure I'm called an immigrant. To be fair, most people who have ever moved to Canada haven't moved here because they like Canada. I've known a few people from the Netherlands who wanted to live in the mountains of western Canada, but that's generally the exception and not the norm. Everybody I know moved because of finances or freedoms. My ancestors were part of that group. In the early history of Canada people from warmer countries didn't want to move here. Who could blame them. People from Europe, with simillar winters were given incentives to move to Canada, like land grabs. Even then many found winters too cold and left. Canadians are generally welcoming to all people 😃 from any country, it's the government incentives that people object to -- not the people. The same has been true of Aboriginals who historically objected to early immigration for mamy reasons, one of those reasons was because they weren't getting the same perks and incentives as the immigrants, although they were born in the country. They would get angry at immigrants for taking their land, but also for not being able to have the same options. Around the year 2000 Canada noticed that the country wasn't very multicultural. The gov wanted to change that and many news articles discussed this topic. They used the same technique to bring people into the country as they did in early history, using political assylum and *financial* incentives. Every person I ever spoke to from a warm climate came for financial incentives or political assylum. Right this minute it's -25 Celsius with a wind chill, so again, I can't blame anyone for not putting Canada first on their list. As a matter of fact, so few people from warmer countries wanted to come here, so if they wanted to leave their country the immigration offices didn't give them a choice as to where they could move. They had to move to Canada and were told they had to arrive in a specific city. After a few years of residency they can move. If they chose to move to Canada, for incentives, they were told what city to move to without a choice. Of course these cities are locations that the government wants to be multicultural and again, nobody wants to immigrate there. *The Canadian government is still operating this way today.* The same happened with my ancestors back in late 1800's. They were told they had to live in Saskatchewan. Yeah, google the temperature in Wolseley, Saskatchewan right now and reduce that temp by 10 to 15 degrees for wind chill, and you quickly see why I left that cute little town as soon as I was old enough. Not only the cold winters, but jobs are scarce in that small town. People move away for finances. Some people immigrating to Canada get incentives like free housing for a period of time, or free education, and some are lured by the illusion of free health care, only to realize that health care costs a lot of money in taxes, and a quasi-socialist country isn't the best place for hard working laborers. Since early history people from warmer countries rarely immigrated past the southern USA states. That's why the gov needed financial or job incentives to come further north. Many Canadians get angry, not at the people immigrating here, but because they've lived here their whole lives and don't get the perks that some immigrants have had. I can completely understand why aboriginals got upset for the same reason. Not all people moving here get perks. If people have a higher income they'll have to buy a car, or some other financial expense in the country. The government has always been divisive in this regard and cater to the poorer immigrants... give me your poor, your sick, etcetra. However, people with little to no money can get more incentives, like free education or business help. Some immigrants get a health card number and don't have to pay for physio, dental, or other treatments that people born here would have to pay out of pocket. Government has always been divisive, so when people get angry it's at the gov, not at the person who is trying to take the gov up on their incentive programs. It's human nature to take financial incentives when offered, so people can't be blamed, but you can see how this could cause division and anger. To make matters even more difficult, back when Nepal had an earthquake the gov was advertising to help people immigrate who were mentally and physically disabled. They would get a lot of perks and financial help. At that time I had a car crash and lost my job. I had to work in the sector where people are disabled. The only way I could get gov help is if I lost my house and car and had very minimal assets, so instead of that I tried to work with severe injuries in a field that wouldn't disqualify me for injuries. In other words, I would have had to be financially left with nothing before the gov would help me. So, one of my clients was a family from Nepal who got people to come in to their home to help them claiming they had a disabled child. I couldn't notice that the child had any disability, but they didn't speak English, so I wondered what was going on. The mother didn't work, and neither did the father. He was drunk at any time of day. They got a lot of free financial aid, including free housing and a health card that allowed them free physio, massage, pharmacy, dental and doctor visits. I wasn't angry with the people from Nepal, I was angry with the governement, because people who were born here haven't gotten those same perks. I would have had to lose everything to get a little help, which comes in the form of getting a pass to get food from a food bank. Even though I pay over 40% taxes I would have had to have no assets to get assistance for a one bedroom apartment. Many people from up north move for a warmer climate, but again, climate is something that most people consider when moving. I agree though that it's annoying when people move to a different country and complain that it's not like their home. You may be interested to know that every single person I know who moved to Canada do the same thing in Canada. It's a human trait we all share, and not something specific to North Americans, although people from USA seem to make their opinion known more than people from other countries. Here's just one example of many: Long ago, back in the late 90's I became good friends with a woman who moved from Peru. She got married to a man here. She learned the language and had 2 kids, but she hated it here. She missed her city Ariquippa. Her mom and dad told her she needed to marry the guy from Canada to better her financial future. One day she asked me to come over and visit. She was depressed and told me she was leaving her kids and husband to move back to Peru. She missed it so much and complained non-stop about how Canada wasn't like Ariquippa. She wasn't in love with the man, but I told her she would miss her kids, wouldn't she? She didn't reply. She would have done anything to leave. She said she would die of cancer soon so she could leave. She was my best friend. I suggested she go back home 3 times a year for 1 month stays, but she said she would never leave if she went home. People all around the world move for financial prospects, and political assylum. Not just North American people, although I suspect Mexico sees more immigrants from North America for the reason that it's closer to North America and they can travel faster. Sadly, Canada's quasi-socialism is turning communist so for a few minutes I was considering taking New Mexico USA up on their offer of providing Canadians with political assylum. I love New Mexico, and have been there before, love the weather, but the country of USA? Dear God no! I'd be jumping from the fire into the frying pan, as the saying goes. The 2020 BLM issue that swept through USA was politically funded by the blue party, and other political groups. I would not pay high taxes to potentially endure that again. Money makes the world go round. That's the reality of living on our planet. Are you saying Mexican people aren't this way? because I know a number of dear Mexican people who immigrated to Canada who would say otherwise. All the people moving through Queratro to go to USA are going for job financial reasons. Only wealthy people can move around their country without needing to factor in money, otherwise the fact is that people make their relocation choices based on job, finances. People do it within a country and also within the wider scope of our world. I say this with polite inquiry, because it appears there's more going on with international immigrants in all parts of the world than just wanting to move because they like the country. Although, yes, Mexico is a wonderful country with government pros and cons like every other place that cause problems for people. I think if I were to move to any corner of our world, it would be a Greek Island, just because I like the water and land, and overall vibe, and most islands are pretty safe. You are always welcome to our little corner of our world in Canada, we get so few tourists in this city. But know that right now the current temperature is -42 Celsius with a wind chill that will take it even lower in the middle of the night. The word bone chilling describes how the bones feel in this kind of cold. ❄️☃️ In 2023 I'm selling my house, vehicles and liquidating all national assets and finding out where in our world I want to live. First stop is Guatemala, but will be driving through Mexico and would love to stop and say hi, share a meal and have a smile or 2. I am planning to invest in a business somewhere in our big world... just not sure where yet. It is quite expensive to relocate to other countries, and I'm very thankful that I'm in a spot where I can, because so many people in Canada have no financial choice but to stay here. Canada is unfortuantely not for people like me who don't want to live in a communist country where we have to pay over 40% taxes to a government that hands out millions and millions of dollars to charities around the world, while in this country there are so many people struggling. I'm getting mine because my wife is a Mexican citizen. Being married to a Mexican citizen, also eliminates the minimum income requirements. I make more than the minimum, but don't have provide proof. Being over 60 years old, precludes me from having to take any citizenship tests as well.

I think Mexico is a racist country. People say it class, but class goes with race. Even if your an American if u live there long enough you will see it. I say this because my husband is white Mexican as he light skin compare to me I’m brown. Black American. Anyways, if I would go by myself to Mexico of course they will treat me well as I’m an American as even when I used a badoo app to find friends I got ton of middle class and upper class guys and girls that wanted to chat. Now when I go with my husband and his family I get looks as of course because I stand out and we are in a interracial marriage. Especially when we are in his gated community, as we walking I just notice I’m the only one like me in his gated community as I don’t belong but they know I’m not a threat because there is guards at the dame entrance. So I didn’t sneak in. People look at me as they never seen someone like me in here before or s car inside will slowly watch us walking or something. I notice these things and also going to the bank this Mexican lady brush me on purpose as my husband didn’t see it, but that’s her way of saying she upset or jealous. Don’t know if it because I’m American or because of my race with her people lol. As the bank is for rich. Going to the upper store getting groceries. 3 young adult women stare at me out of envy as that’s 2. Last one I notice is when I was shopping at Zara this young lady was checking us out as you can see the jealously by how she put my items in the bag. I think she thought he was paying but in reality it my card knowing she from a poor class she probably didn’t know I was an American considering her salary is much lower and she haven’t travel out she was thinking how can she get a guy like this or stuff like this as look at me vs her. Aguascalientes es más segura y local que Querétaro, porque Querétaro se está convirtiendo en una trampa para turistas y mucha gente de la CDMX se está yendo a vivir para allá. Puebla es bonita pero horrible para vivir, ¡sáquenla de su lista! He vivido en las tres, y Puebla tiene muchísima más pobreza, delincuencia, población, problemas con sus servicios, etc. Horrible para vivir en la ciudad. Cholula, Puebla, quizás sería una opción; pero no le gana a Aguascalientes. Aguascalientes tiene todos los servicios, todas las tiendas, es una de las 3 ciudades más seguras del país, excelente servicio médico con muchas opciones, excelentes escuelas, tiene poca pobreza y hay mucha riqueza en el estado. La gente es más seria y hermética que en otros estados, pero sigue siendo amable y amigable. Además, es de los pocos estados donde la gente maneja bien y tranquilo, no como locos!

I've heard that some companies will cover certain things after 3 years. Even paying a small amount to be covered by IMSS is better than nothing. If you are a sickly person with no money at all, good luck wherever you land.

I've noticed this is what sales people do in most of the world. They cater more to tourists as that's mostly where the income is in tourism. Since they rely heavily on tourist money they know they might have a potential sale. I once asked a sales man in India why he did this. His answer was that he knew the tourists could be easier sales, and it was all about making a potential sale over wasting his time. In some cities in Morrocco, most of the cities, the salespeople will ask if you're going to buy anything. If you say no and you're just looking they tell you to leave. 👀
