One of the most asked question I get is why on earth I would choose to sell my townhouse and build a tiny house on wheels. It's a very good questions and one I try to answer in this video.

I was always the same way, when I was married and lived in a very large house I always went upstairs to our room and shut the door and watched TV and I had all my snacks and everything I needed! I love small so I really loved it when I moved into my camper van and everything I owned went everywhere with me! Surprisingly it was my older son who was the most supportive!

Amen! We live in 2600 sq ft. home. The children are grown! Why do we need all this house? From the heating to the cleaning, etc.......♥️ Tiny!

I feel the exact same way!! I wanted to downsize for more freedom; however I’m still feeling anxious about it, not sure I won’t regret afterwards. Also the area I live in is not a tiny house friendly. It’s been a year only since I started getting interested in these cute tinny houses. But honestly I don’t know what is exactly like to live in a tiny space even though, like you, i love cozy spaces. Which I’m sure about is that a lot of people will think I’m gone crazy!!

I would suggest and it's probably too late, to close off completely, any parts of your home that you don't use all the time. See how you feel about having those doors closed and just living in a specific area. Just a suggestion!

This is punk rock! Love it! At the opposite end of the spectrum, I've done a couple of videos on not so tiny homes, specifically multi-milllion dollar condos in New York and Toronto. If you can afford it, fine, everybody loves house porn, but your choice is an investment in happiness, not in status, which will always bring you more rewards. And the place looks great! Now all you need is a lovely and charming tiny home on São Jorge. If and when you do, I'll help shoot that video. Abraço!

Greetings from another Portuguese-Canadian! My family came from Castelo Branco in the Açores! Love your channel, And have been a subscriber since I found it. Are you as short as I am? I’m not even 5 feet tall, therefore I’m thinking of lowering the height of the countertops in my tiny.

I got started with your more recent video in which you do a house tour. I liked your style of talking and LOVED your house so I subscribed and went back to the beginning, to see your journey. I can really see myself in you and I hope to get a lot of inspiration to finally make the step towards a tiny house :)) I already have tons of sketches and plans (I'm a planner too!!), but didn't have the money and the logistics to do it. But that's slowly coming together, too, which means probably next year I can start working on it! Thanks so much for your videos and your input!

Hello Amy. I hired a professional house mover: Chris Lapointe at Chinook RV Transport 403-828-3289. He set it in place and put the jacks down but I had a plumber/gas’s fitter

Plumber/gas fitter here to do the hookups. I also hired a professional to block it up and a handyman to do the skirting, shed and front steps and other miscellaneous things that needed doing.
