i remember when i used to have to give myself a pep talk to go to the supermarket (girl, you need groceries for yourself, for your baby, if you dont get up and go nobody else will) lmaoo its sound ridiculous but it was a struggle. i think i struggled with anxiety since childhood but when i had my own child its like i stopped giving a f*** about stuff that made me anxious and focused on raising my child, moving forward, making progress by my own standards.

having a kid really forced me out of my box cause its not just about me anymore. and i still hate going to the supermarket but i dont need to give myself a pep talk anymore. i do make a detailed grocery list to get in and out as quickly as possible tho lmfao

Making progress by your own standards! A word! My daughter had definitely helped me gain clarity as well, like I’m a whole mom! I gotta make sure I fill my cup so that I can give myself and my family the best version of me! I definitely make a super detailed and categorized list cuz I hate grocery shopping. I’ll literally write the list in the order of the aisles so that I’m not running around back & forth. I’m trynna be in & out like a robbery😂💙

Hi Doll, I suffer from anxiety and depression as well. Each day is a day I have to choose to be positive. I’ve learned to look at the world in the greys instead of in black and white. Therapy helped me learn how to cope daily and how to use what I’ve learned to get through the moments when I become overwhelmed. Now, I live by the thought of I think positively, then I will have positive outcomes and if I think negatively, then I would have negative outcomes. Continue to be strong! I admire you before and I do even more now! Keep thinking positive. Know your not alone 💕

I’m so happy and proud of you for getting the help you need and making the effort to shift your mindset💙 the journey to our higher selves really is a sum of the small decisions we make everyday to be better and be kind to ourselves! Positive thoughts and energy manifests positive outcomes. Keep being great & doing what you need to do to stay on a higher frequency!

@@CoolCalmCurly I agree! I try to encourage everyone to seek therapy. Not everything can be spoken to our friends and family and the church is not always the answer. Prayer helps but at times professional guidance is needed. As you said, no miracle pill will cure things. It’s important to know that we are not crazy for feeling the way we did or might me feeling now. My depression started my senior year of high school and I thought the world was against me. I was bullied for going through what I was going through. I try to speak up about my struggle with anxiety and depression so that it has a face. I look very normal and I seem happy all the time but they are things I struggle with daily.

Thank you for sharing your story! *I’m no stranger to disappearing for months at a time.* I’m introverted and also a loner who experienced depression at the age of 11. Sometimes it feels as if the world is trying to swallow me. I’m glad you’re feeling better!💙 And girllll, I unfollowed TSR 3 years and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my IG feed. I only go on that page now when I’m looking for a specific story. I’d rather look at my own risk than have that BS shoved down my throat.

I’m late to this video. I came across your channel today watching your silk press tips and watched a couple of your videos before coming across this video! I felt compelled to leave a comment and say that I literally relate to what you’re saying on a profound level forreal. I got rid of my social media too when I got pregnant and took that time to self reflect, accept things for what it is and also work on that perfectionist flaw that I have as well… I’m still a work in progress, but sure as hell in a better/strong mindset now than how I was 6-7 years ago, from simply disconnecting from social media such as Facebook and IG (KZfaq and Pinterest are the only things I use now). We tend to bottle things up until there is no more room, then it explodes! I have just become part of your supporters! I first would like to say, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. It was also disheartening to learn that no one knew how to help that little girl. That little girl, grew up. You managed to find your way. It may have taken some time but it was inevitable because of whom you seem to be and I am happy for you too. Those early on, well meaning critics, they saw your potential and wanted you to be exceptional and you are. (That statement does not justify what they did or how they did it.) I never thought about the traits attached to being a perfectionist. I just hated it about myself. I stopped practicing being a perfectionist years ago, although, I see the tendency creep up from time-to-time. That same potential I see in my 2 year old and I can't be the like critics I encountered. My goal is to be a cultivator. Thank you for sharing. It was very helpful. Agape

Everything you’re saying is spot on. What’s for you will never miss you because nothing and no one can take away what god has for you. Showing gratitude is the most important because it shows God that you’re grateful for every single thing in your life which allows more blessings to come your way. What you say and think becomes your reality. It’s all about gratitude, high energy and vibrations, faith and having genuine intentions. Continue on your journey because you will continue to have greatness and pure happiness. Everything you want from life claim it and receive and you will have it. Sorry to hear of your mother’s passing even though I don’t know that breaks my heart. Just know that your mother is still with you her flesh body has moved on but her energy is still near. Read the art of living by: Thich Nhat Hanh. Many blessings sister. I wrote this message before watching the entire video once i finished watching it I had to come back and comment . It’s so good to eliminate anything that is low vibrational because it will lower your vibrations and once you get deeply heavy in your spiritual journey you wouldn’t want to consume any of those gossip low vibrational shows or anything for that because once you do it will make your entire energy feel completely off and truly have an impact on your energy. Please check out a woman by the name of “ Lalah Delia “ she has a booked called vibrate higher daily , she has mediations on insight timer and a website for online class you will learn so much and it would be a great room for your spiritual journey . She’s truly A beautiful soul . What you’re saying about being home and with your husband and family fuels you more than being out I resonate with 100 percent I always say my family rejuvenates me not being out with friends or out . Life is about growth and what matters most is when your personality aligns with your soul.
