I’m always jumping out of a stock too soon. I trade too many shares and I can’t take the loss when it comes against me. So I jump out, then 10 minutes later I realized I was trading in the right direction but couldn’t handle the draw back. Thanks for sharing and helping me understand my problem

This is absolutely right. When I started trading, I was using 2000 shares. These were way much more shares then my mind can handle, so kept losing money. Then i have reduced my share size eventually over the course of many months to just 50 to 100 share. That size was kind of joke to me initially but it gave me the power to handle my stop loss so amazingly that it increased my accuracy to like 90%. I just find the direction of the stock in the morning and ride it all day long or till it actually change direction. I am amazed how much just 50 share can earn you. I will be doubling the shares after i get comfortable with this size.

If a stock is at 100, people use figures like 50, 75, 100, and 125 as major price levels. But if a stock is at 50, then people like to use 23.6, 38.2, 50, and 61.8, for major price levels. Those are fibonacci levels. VWAP is popular, but as the day wears on, the extra daily volume (V) becomes a heavy weight (W) and erodes the predictive power of the line. It's a better predictor in the early going.

Indeed size is the problem. When it's too big, we trade with our P&L rather than the chart.

Really interesting opinion and video. Trading on a naked chart sure is an interesting thing. You can really read the market that way and rely on the price action more. Great!

hi meir, thank you for sharing. would like to clarify something about what u said in the video about trusting your stock and believing that it will move in the direction u believe it will. earlier today QQQ was downtrending, but TSLA was just moving sideways. it then broke out and continued moving higher the rest of the night. under such situation, would u still enter TSLA for the long when u see that qqq and spy is downtrending, even when u know that tsla has momentum and potential to go higher intraday.
