Even offering a ride even though you tell them you’re doing it all by skateboard, the offer is appreciated. This is America! Keep it up.

Day number 26 and you are still the greatest.

Every day I pass this map in my office and I find where you are in the country. You really are cutting right to the halfway mark, at least West to East. If you’re a little short mileage wise it’s probably some of the miles it’ll take to get North to VA. But it’s so cool seeing that you can literally get across the country on a board like this. Agree: smooth ground is much more of a must have than no wind. Rough ground on my 80a wheels still feels rough and runs right through your bones to your head. Any of these motels been just awful? I can imagine there’s some meager accommodations in some of the more remote parts. Looking forward to see what conditions the roads and towns have once you get toward more populated areas East of DFW and Oklahoma.

A few months ago, I skated from New Smyrna, Florida to Orlando FL. It was like exactly 60 miles also. Took me 9.5 hours. I think I just slept the two days after that. This is amazing what you are doing here Chad Caruso. I had read a little bit about long distance skating but I think at the moment there aren't to many of us out there. I've certainly felt like a loner, but the level of freedom and confidence in my ability to traverse the concrete jungles has been one of the best, most profound experiences of my life. And you are doing 60 mikes, day after day. This is so amazing bro! You're are basically a self made super hero. Nothing but respect coming from me. I was planning to go coast to coast about 150 miles here in Florida. Come to find you're skating the whole country, 🤯 madness! I really want to figure out how long distance skating can grow into something bigger, I want in on this skate cross states mischief. You sir are now legend 💪. I'm so stoked on this now. Caruso shows us the way, on a kids toy! I am truly humbled this ...

You should look at getting a neon reflective vest. It will increase your visibility to drivers and your safety.

You have gotten unbelievably lucky in terms of weather. I cycled from Portland, ME to Portland, OR in 35 days and probably 1/3 of those days were in the rain.

I'll bet those long smooth hill bombs on a beautiful day skating across America are epic!...your also gonna have crazy good endurance..wich will also help with how often your sore..keep it going brother!..in my prayers😊

I've driven from va -> California 4 times in my life, I can't imagine skating that whole way, insane, I always found it really cool the way the us goes from green as hell to slowly more brown and mountains then desert then green again by the west coast must be even cooler moving slower and get to take it all in

Great trip so far! If you are looking for something to smooth out the ride a little on these rough streets, I can recommend Avenue Suspension Trucks (not affiliated or anything); they really take off the edge of these cheese grinders and still come close to the regular trucks when riding.

Wow! You're a beast! 60 mile days are something. I was in a military unit that did a lot of walking, A LOT, with gear for us 30 miles was a good day, 60 miles is nuts, back wheels hold the weight if you're glue footed
