Well you decided to drive an aerodynamic brick at 75, and charge to 100%? What do you expect, range and charging to be. If you drove 65 and started charge at 10% to 80/85% then you would be much faster overall.

Depends on which EV you drive. I've road tripped all over the US in a Tesla; probably 20k miles in total. Typical charging session is 20 minutes and they rarely exceed 30 minutes. Only once had to wait in line to charge. That was over Thanksgiving weekend last year at the Shreveport, LA Supercharger. Overall experience is excellent. I would not road-trip in anything else.

No way would I rent or buy an electric car. My last road trip was a 10 hour drive. I stopped twice for gas took less than 10 minutes to fill up and be back on the road. I'm old school

ok, so you posted this on may 5. so this vehicle already has access to the tesla network among a bunch of ccs as well. you need to familiarize yourself with the different charger vendors because i garuntee you would not have run out of juice if you did.,
