My Xbox always was the Halo machine, never really played much else

Nintendo console is going to be the only one that I buy going forward. I'm done purchasing PlayStation and Xbox consoles. I need to save up money for the next Nintendo console and then I can start saving money for PC upgrades.

I'm getting very stressed out with XBOX recently, having to deal with broken achievement on big titles like Diablo 3, Graveyard Keeper, Immortal Fennyx Rising etc, I purchased the Cyberpunk DLC but it failed to install then the XBOX store broke which could only be fixed by resetting the console, which now can only be done 5 times a year, the fact that I've now had to reset my console 3 times already, if these issues persist I may end up with problems I wont be able to resolve until next year, I was a loyal XBOX 360 fan, those days were great, but now, I'm just not feeling it anymore, it's even more difficult to speak to someone now. Their support website, said web support was available 24 hours, but then only gave me the option for a callback, then this encountered a system failure, I've become so tired of it all.

i still have a xsx halo edition.. it might be my last xbox, i play mostly on pc as you.. though if microsoft release a much more powerful machine in the near future i would still be a buyer.

I don't even know why people even what consoles anymore PC is just way better. PC gets both Xbox and PlayStation exclusives, better graphics and Framerates. And mods Also while PC might be seem more expensive then Xbox and Playstation at the beginning. Due to the fact you don't have to pay to play online. If you have a PC 4 or more years it will actually be cheaper thrn a console The only advantage console have over PCs is there's less hackers But since pretty much all modern day multiplayers are cross platform this isn't really an advantage at all

Am I a piece of crap for still playing and liking Xbox, Halo, Forza (more specifically the 360 titles, and Project Gotham Racing although I've been done with them for two-three months now?

All of their games went to shit, they just keep buying studios and lay everyone off, then proceed to sit on these Ip’s.

I mean the series x is a pc an affordable buy it off the shelf pc that does a decent job and you could argue the original xbox and onward the xbox has always been a sort of pc.

Xbox One had such a horrible launch, and the crowd was so silent after they realized what it was about lol

I've been so thoroughly disgusted with the way both Sony, and Microsoft handled all the situations, and issues that came with the release of this generation's consoles. One major reason for this is the fact that until only recently, it was an utter crapshoot in finding a console on the store shelves for sale, and hence, actually attainable as it should be from day one!!! It took both companies nearly three years after the initial release date to reach that state of availability!!! Now, with this generation's lifespan nearly halfway over (lifespan defined with the perspective that it is over the day its successor is released), and they expect me to pay full price for a console that I have already been robbed of deriving any excitement and joy from playing??? This is the first generation of home gaming consoles from which I have not owned a single console . . . large thanks to corporate greed, ineptitude, and apathy toward gamers, their customers! First time, I have been so disgusted by their actions, coupled with the feeling of being blatantly robbed of joy within my life, that I can not bring myself to give either of these megacorps any of my money, and I may not be some hardcore competitive gamer, but I am a hardcore gamer, and I have been home gaming since the Fairchild Channel F home gaming console days (you should have seen the TV at my grandparents' house where I played it . . . I would love to have that TV today). So, making the painful decision not to partake in this generation of utter BS should speak volumes for a gamer that has been going at it since the mid '70s. These corporations are so huge that within their own respective bureaucracy their left hand has not a single clue what their right hand is doing! It might not matter much in the long end anyway, for if these soulless corporations' greed persuades them sufficiently to do what they want to do, and they come out with only all digital systems next generation in an attempt to render more control over the software by eliminating physical copies of it, then that is the exact action that shall be the end of this home console gamer. If you can not comprehend why the existence of physical copies of games is vital for the gaming community, especially in the preservation realm, but in many other ways as well, you should really get informed, and look into it so you don't drown in an abundance of overwhelming regret realizing that it did matter, and you wish you had done something before it was too late. The day Microsoft makes a product that does not suck will likely be the day upon which they begin to manufacture vacuum cleaners!!!
