Alongside with that, I sincerely urge you to read more about this practice. I know it takes time but worth it. With knowledge and coupled with your practice, you will gain faith and wisdom, your practice will be deep & strong. Instead of being half hearted or fear, you will be courageous because you know more about Dorje Shugden and its benefits. I was just like you when I first started and I pray that your path will be smooth...

Practice Palden Lhamo & Nechung Choegyal Instead. If u don't see any benefit. Then u may do as per ur wish. Karmapa, Sakya Gongma Rinpoche, H.H Dalai Lama, all have denounced Shugden's practice.
