I really love Nikon Zf, but there is several things, why Nikon Zf is not for professional photography work. ISO dial is the most nightmare. Other cameras can easily switch ON and OFF ISO auto, but with Nikon Zf they messed up ISO and C and ISO auto mode. Ergonomics problem, but you can solve it using small lenses or need to wait for bigger and comfy grip to use f/1.2 lenses. Right now I can not work all day with big lenses. Do you have trick for that ? Share it !
Nikon please add custom C for dial !!!!!
Share your way how to deal with Nikon Zf problems.
The biggest problem Nikon put ISO dial without AUTO mode on it. check Leica digital M cameras, fuji, they did it. Nikon 10 years ago did the same mistake with Nikon Df, but now make the same with Zf.
Nikon please make C on dials Customizable !!!
Pixelshift not working with flash or studio trigger (studio light) in Nikon Zf. In pixelshift mode it uses only electronical shutter.

I agree with you. I recommend using a shortcut: include the ISO in the "i" menu and attack the MAN/AUTO change that way. You save searching the menu.

What are you talking about? Turn on/off iso in the I menu. Or map to the record button. Or use the dial. Many options.

Your statements are obvious - this is a retro camera - it is NOT designed with the ergonomics of a pro camera in mind but to simulate the SLR's of the 70-80's. If you want a pro camera get the Z8 or the upcoming Z6 III. Also, you should know your camera better before reviewing it or criticizing it. Apparently you don't even know what the C on the ISO dial does - this is a problem if you are trying to use this camera as a pro - learn the camera. That all said, from what you say, I think the upcoming Z6III is going to be a better choice for you. -PD

@@AndrejsZavadskis no shit man you're supposed to take MORE time to find the iso that you want. This is not an auto camera. Like at all. If you want that, you can put the dial to C (for control), then map a front button to ISO toggle, then use a dial all the way left of base100 for auto. Leave it on auto. Would take about a second total time once mapped. But if you want an auto camera, buy a different Z model imo.

Just add Iso settings to i menu, and you can change it very fast. :)

You can't add auto ISO settings to i-menu or assign a button for it. Nikon customization is quite dismal.

I feel shutter through body when shooting with mechanic shutter. Pixel shift don't work on Zf with flash or radio trigger (studio). Auto ISO is not controlled with dials Size still bigger that FM Not ergonomic to use with big lenses (like 50mm 1.2) Nikon has a limited selection of lenses for the ZF mount. Old sensor from Z6 (2018 year)

if you put on camera body iso dial, then do it right. check Leica M10, fuji, and other brands with iso dial. they all have ability to turn on and off iso auto with dial !

You can customise the "Disp" button to ISO & use it as you would on your other camera.

No, it's not. Nikon forces you to dive into menu for what should have been a single button click. On my Sony I push the button and immediately can change the min shutter speed in auto ISO. Not with Nikon.
