A lot of the time when it comes to shoes like these where we flip them and it doesn’t seem to have any margins is because they use Giftcards, vouchers, and different methods to get discounted prices on the shoes which leaves us more room for profit. We all have our methods to get the best possible price for them. Basically just brick flipping which can turn super profitable for many if executed the right way.

I'm someone who won't pay over retail for a shoe unless it's an absolute must have and the price isn't insanely high. That being said I think the shoe in the video is a terrible example. I agree that it's dumb to resell just to break even or to only profit a few dollars. But when it comes to exclusive or super limited shoes, I absolutely do not blame anyone for flipping their money for a 4 or 5 x profit, or even more. Those are the shoes that really matter in the resell world . All the other shoes are just pointless. The only thing I can say I do like about resellers or sits like stockx and goat, is that alot of times you can find everyday essentials for under retail.
