When I started playing craps, I too followed various books recommendations for the 3 Point Molly. I found it too expensive and it required too many rolls to recoup the initial bet. I now follow Color Up and Casino Quest strategies on squeeze and regress plays. You guys are great.

Tried this out on a bubble craps machine and got some long lucky rolls. I left after 2 hours with $299 after starting with $100. Tried again recently with my $199 profit, lost down to $100 really fast. It definitely takes hitting a few times to make it work and with only a few numbers working at a time, that can take many rolls. So the recent day when I lost $100 out of my earlier profit, I switched up to the Split the Sisters shown on the channel and got up to $600 in a couple hours. I really liked that one as it takes only two hits to break even, and it is working more numbers. Once you hit those two numbers it is just press and collect time and if you get a long roll in that, you can collect a lot. I am still very new, and still only looking for $5 tables, which for me in the Northeast seems non-existent, so bubble craps is really my only experience so far. But I am learning and love the videos here, and user's comments, to learn from!!

I love this video and it agrees with so many things I've been thinking about! I've been asking why (on reddit, etc.) making low house edge bets matter so much when I'd rather just regress and play for free on numbers that are actually hitting. Thanks for confirming this for me.

That’s why I love Casino Quest’s ultimate Squeeze Play regression strategy. For example: $15 table, 110 inside, first hit buy the 4 and 10 for $20 each, next hit regress down to $96 across. I’ve done twice, the first time I won $250 on the first 2 shooters then walked away. Then I tried it yesterday and won $700-$800 on a hot shooter.

@@pollopollo3531 I just searched ultimate squeeze play and I found the video as a KZfaq Short where it’s labeled squeeze play. That’s pretty much it and you can just adjust the bet depending on the table minimum. Like I said before, on a $15 table you wanna bet 110 inside, first hit buy the 4 and 10 for $20 each then the next hit regress down to $96 across. On $10 tables I did $66 inside then first hit placed for 4 and 10 for $10 each then next hit went down to $64 across. I half pressed half collected with every hit after. If the 6 or 8 hit I’d press both up $6 each and collected the rest, if the 5 or 9 hit I pressed them $5 each and collected the rest. If 4 or 10 hit I just collected.

The problem I have with most regression strategies is that when you PSO, it takes so many wins just to make up for it. It gets worse when you regress, because it takes even more smaller wins to make up for it. If I'm going to accept all that exposure up front, I want some chance for a big return .

I agree it takes to too long to brake even. And you can’t take it down. You can only take off the odds bet. So if it is a long roll and you feel it is going to end soon or the dice go off the table, you can’t turn it off or take down your bets like you can with place bets.
@mulehead126

Well taking off the odds is still taking off quite a bit...plus you don't HAVE to keep making come bets every time you only have one active. If I've hit 2 or 3 line or come bets I often then only have one come bet working.
@mulehead126
@mulehead126 10 ай бұрын
I usually back off and only have one come bet working if I have hit 2 or 3 come or line bets. That reduces my chances of winning more but also increases my chances of losing less once the dreaded 7 is rolled. Way too many players never take place bets down, and many players always have to have 2 come bets active, same thing. Plus I don't make full odds bets, but that's because I don't want to have $150 or so active.

I see lots of people playing Pass and 2 come bets. They always seem to leave the table before a good shooter gets a turn. I told one guy in NJ at Caesar during the beauty pageant to wait for atleast 5 rolls in; he just gave me a slight snear and lost 5 shooters in a row. Even when I am the shooter I wait for 6 rolls to see what to bet on. Getting Pass/Point/7 is not as fun as it looks. 😥
@patrickdebonis6493
@patrickdebonis6493 10 ай бұрын
Yeah, it can be real volatile. The reason why people tap out like that is because the don't have a large enough bankroll. It does take a large one. Even on a $5 table. You could end up with $30 on the 6. $30 on the 8, and $25 on the 5 or 9. That's $85. If you want to have enough for 10 shooters, you'd need a $850 bankroll..for a five dollar table.

Jeremy--It's your "standard", and Many folks play it. Because you're 100% correct--you're Not out of the hand by roll 5, the "strategy" is Only gonna win on the 2 long rolls/hour, and lose on the 10 of 12 that are shorter. The shorter 10 losses are Rarely made up on the 2 longer rolls...but folks chase the 3 point molly for that "Huge" monster roll that only happens rarely for them. But chase it they do. Good of you to show this.

Personally, I prefer to play the DP, lay full odds. Then take two come bets and take full odds. On the PSO, I collect my DP and come bet. On a PSO =1, I win my DP and odds bet. I lose my come number and odds, and win my come bet for a small net gain.I like this strategy slightly better than the 6,7,8 because of the earning potential on the PSO and getting full odds one my come numbers.

You could use this to the first win, in you example the 5 where you won $70. Take down the other odds and use you winnings to place the rest of the numbers. So you’re 60-64 across and in the black. Sure 2 numbers are flat bets but if they hit you can go back with a place bet.

Nothing wrong with that at all. Only play odds that you can afford. The expected lose of 1x or max odds is the same. I use max odds here because the “experts” say you should max odds since it’s a great bet. But that is only true if it doesn’t represent too large a % of your bankroll

When you win you beat the math and you need to bet as heavy as you can . I don’t play for fun . I play to win . What ever works is what ya use . Gotta be flexible and know what to do and when .

Your intuition is that the 3PM takes too long to pay back your bets. That's my intuition, too. And we're both wrong. The 3PM has the best statistics of any strategy I've ever tested. I've posted it here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iMp3q6mWu8DdaZ8.html with a run of 2.5 million shooters and compared it to 5 other strats, but I've run a couple dozen other strats, too and the 3PM is the best (least bad). On average, for 25 shooters, you'll only lose $20 at a $10 table. YMMV. (P.S. If you want to get your bets paid for quickly, Split the Sisters (with no hardway bets) is the best I've seen.)

This is not a good representation of 3 point Molly. I have won more money with this strat on either the dark on light side. Odds play is a function of your bank roll. It’s also regressive and protects you from the PSO. Minimize loss and maximize gain. I use nickel odds to begin. After two numbers hit, then only the next number gets pressed to the next unit. If 6 and 8 are come points, then I will play for off and on even if another come bet is active. No more than four points playing. It’s also easy to change to DC after 3 points are established with a dollar yo hedge. Let the come points hit and then you’re in a don’t strategy. This works.
@ColorUp
@ColorUp 10 ай бұрын
I think it is a fair representation. All the things you mentioned make it a better play in my opinion, starting with lower odds, switching to DC action. What I showed is how the “experts” recommend. 3 points, max odds which makes it tough to win with, albeit a very low house edge 🤪
@cowboyvalley
@cowboyvalley 10 ай бұрын
One thing I will say, is that the "number" of rolls really means nothing. The probability of any number rolling at ANY TIME never changes. That's why you see point 7 outs and why you see 20 or 30 or more monster rolls. There is the "combined" number of roll probabilities and that is what you are talking about. But in reality.....every single roll....is the same probability regardless of how many came before. ...Claude
@ColorUp
@ColorUp 10 ай бұрын
That is correct. Every roll is independent. But I like strategies that recoup my initial outlay faster, and do not require so many rolls just to break even. Or strategies that are cheaper than $150 and build up. Technically you could roll the 6, ten times in a row and your come bet just continues to get paid off and on. which would be a dream scenario. But I showed a very "beneficial" scenario, and it took 12 rolls just to get my money back, any less and you likely lose money. Then I showed a random roll, which was great roll by anyones standards, 18 rolls, and yet it netted only $50....

In the given scenario, where you are on three separate numbers it takes at least two hits to recoup your money. But there are other scenarios to consider too. The 3PM does help offset the PSO. I know, you don't want the seven to appear, but sooner of later JESUS IS COMING and I'd rather get paid something on it rather than nothing. Another scenario of the 3PM is where you get some repeaters early in the roll. That is always a nice surprise. Another thing with the 3PM is you have to make a decision whether or not to work you bets on the come out roll. I don't see any reason not to. The odds bet is the best bet in the house and taking it off seems rather stupid. Think about it. The casino has you odds off by default. They certainly aren't looking out for your interests, so work your odds. Another dynamic about the 3PM is that you are hoping to seven out in the situations where you only have one come bet active.

@@ColorUp A cold table will kill the line player and place player alike. A hot table will do the same to a dark side player. I think the place bettor has a leg up on a hot roll because he is already getting paid on the firs box number, while the line player is just getting set up. It is a myth that the latter has to hit the number twice. It does have to roll twice, but only once with his money on it, so that is all that matters. The problem with most place bettors is that they don't incorporate the policy of regression and just press, press ,press., or same bet all day.I really think he needs a good exit strategy. Whether it be regression and taking a profit, or at some point turn his action off. Many fortunes have been lost in the elephant graveyard.
