573 here, done at vengeance with full bolt on, heads/cam, e85.

The intake, tb and cai will help but to get that 600whp mark you need mill your heads to bump compression (12:1 to 13:1). The bigger the cam on these lt's isn't gonna make more power unless you have higher compression.

If you want something that will make similar power to the hi ram and not cut into your car/hood look into the btr trinity intake manifold. And most definitely you will need a rotofab and throttle body to help the car breathe better.

Hey im glad your back, Love the maro! Have the same one but in black. I was gonna spend the money but i heard from lots of people that the lt1 is not a very good platform to start on. So ima just buy a classic car and start with a bigger block and work my way up lol

Bro this is coming from someone who’s had their feelings hurt from that dyno too, It’s the dyno and your stock intake system together. Usually people already have a cai and do the intake manifold if not same time around same time as a cam because they’re extremely complimentary. I been on a different dyno outside of the one from Mera and the difference was big. I have bolt ons and flex fuel the car feels much more powerful than the numbers from mera’s dyno. Ultimately I trust in Edgard and his tune feels much better than when my car read higher. Wish you and the fam the best glad to hear all is well.

Thanks for sharing what you’ve learned about your performance upgrades and especially where the deficits are. And it’s great to see you post again. I’ve commented to you before that I have a Hyper Blue 1LE as well. Just paid it off…YEAH! I’ve been contemplating trading up to a ZL1 1LE but looks like I will instead just upgrading mine in the way you have yours. Vengeance Racing is in my neck of the woods, but LSXperts are just 10 minutes away from me here in Woodstock, GA so I’m likely to go there. They have their “Shake-n-bake” N/A for these that can be ratcheted up north of 630. I doubt I’ll go that extreme. I’ll be happy with between 540-585 rwhp. They’ve told me I’m good with my GM CAI but will certainly need LTH, 103mm tb, and MSD intake manifold to go along with the heads, can, and tune. My worry is sound. I do like to track mine and I’m cognizant of sound limits. That’s the whole reason I’ve been waffling with just getting a ZLE. Anyway, thanks again for posting another video. Looking forward to seeing how the changes will improve your set up.

If I had to do it all over I’d honestly go Zl1. Don’t have to touch it with great hp. I do love my car exactly the way it is but Zl1 1le is a monster.

Didn’t you say the cam was a blower cam in another video? If so, maybe that has something to do with a little lower power number being non-boosted 🤷🏻‍♂️

Msd, tb, and rotofab will get u where uvwant to be. U definitely have a bottleneck with the factory lt1 manifold. Also don't know what thermostat u running but running slightly colder helps keep the Gen V motors out of knock and killing your timing.

I should say as well if your on E85 then the thermostat doesn't matter so much.

I agree….. MSD, TB, and a Rotofab intake will do numbers for your car….. your tune shouldn’t cost as much if you use the same tuner…

Not entirely from all the tuners and shops I hear the msd is the top choice.

@@GearhedzGarage N/A my buddy only had like a 5-10 hp difference going from a ported LT2 intake manifold to a MSD and was pissed lol ended up taking it off and going whipple… LT2’s are soo cheap you might want to give it a shot and you can always sell it
