I live 2 hours away from the Rayco manufacturing plant so I'm spoiled in that I deal with the manufacturer and not a dealer. My experienced with dealers wave not been the most positive. I've often called the Rayco service department to ask them troubleshooting questions, and there are usually 1 or 2 people who float to the top regarding their diagnostic abilities. I consider Dave Bender, to be one of them. It's good to know who those people are.

You'll love this... My daughter one year was being dealt with dome disobedience and I made her read books and write me a 2 page report on it. One night (she's 30 now) her friends asked her how she learned to deal with people so well. She told them, 'Well one summer my Dad made me read' How to Win Friends and Influence People'... And it's made a difference!

It`s kinda funny, I live just over 1 1/2 hours from the Bandit manufacturer in MI. But I `ve always run Rayco . Since Morbark bought Rayco ,it seems customer service is not quite what it used to be . I`ve been thinking about a Bandit machine, with the factory being close for the tech/parts support. As far as oil ,grease ..I grab a few cans and tubes of each every I stop in a tractor supply store. My analogy is "Treat others they way you want to be treated" . It seemed to work thus far through life. Keep up the good word ,Adam !!

Godfather I love it sorry if this is a little late I've been working my butt off trying to buy this grinder but I just wanted to comment on the book it is changed my way of thinking in more ways than one and it is helped in my relationships and when meeting people it is a great book and I'm glad you suggested it it might have been a year or two ago but ever since I read that it has changed my ways Love all the videos keep it up Godfather I love you I appreciate you and I am grateful for you! Dealer support is everything. They all break down but how quickly can your dealer get you back up and running is the most important thing. My bandit dealer is closest and I have had a relationship with them since before they were a bandit dealer. My rayco dealer has always been good to me from a bobcat perspective and is about 20 minutes from me. My Carlton dealer is an hour away and I won’t buy a Carlton because they have screwed me around multiple times when I needed parts/service.

Adam great video on real I'm not a big fan of the extended warranties at all I've had them a couple times and every time I Feel like I get burned.

Regarding grease... I've stocked up on 5 gallon pails of hydraulic fluid, 15W40 diesel oil, 90 weight gear oil and a few other commonly used lubricants. You can often safe big money buying it in a 5 gallon pail. Rather than go to the stores, I get it shipped to my door.
