I’ll be honest Nate, and I think you would find this true for most people, I don’t subscribe to channels for the content primarily, but for the person presenting the content. That doesn’t necessarily mean I’ll unsub from Channel Makers but they have to earn it 😊

It turned out that Channel Makers wasn't really your channel. Yeah I'd move on and create something that truly my own too.

Nate this is YOUTube, not corporatetube. We are here for YOU! You are the channel, you are the personality, you are the reason we watch the channel. I’ll be following you here! I’ll check out channel makers, but if they don’t have a great person behind the camera…well…ya know! Good luck here, but YOU will do great!

As a smaller creator who has been following CM for a while, I must admit I am excited to see what happens here!

Intention and Perception do not always align and some creators like me definitely feel mislead. 😕

Keep the “Howdy Howdy!” It’s part of your personal brand we have come to know. (Plus it’s your intellectual property, not Ricky’s or Income School’s! 😜)

ngl I 100% thought Channel Makers was just your personal channel. idk what those folks behind the scenes were contributing, but your presense & enthusiasm on camera what definitely the beating heart of that channel's content. Their view counts after you left will be VERY interesting to keep an eye on.

I’m glad you’re taking on your own path, but it’s definitely strange that the team was never part of the CM videos.

Whoa! I guess I’m totally out of the loop, but I had no idea Channel Makers wasn’t actually Nate’s channel!

When I realized that you left, something clicked inside and I felt a complete emptiness. I rewatched two last videos on CM many times, especially the “goodbye” one, just to make sure that I heard it correctly. Nate is leaving…I said to myself: so what now, will I never hear “Howdy Howdy” again?.. I wasn’t ready! :D

Nate!!!! thanks for posting this. I was on vacation for a couple of days, came back to mow the grass and throw on my favorite youtube channel....and then cried the rest of the way through mowing the grass when I saw the goodbye video. That sounds stupid, but I started my youtube channel (under another account, not here) back before you and Anna recorded the 52 videos all at once. I watched it start to catch fire when you started talking about shorts, and most of all I learned so much from you as you grew and shared with us. I appreciate all of the time and effort you put into the channel and the info you shared and research you did. We know it was you - that's why you had such a following. Your videos had SO much research and technique behind it, that anyone who watches can tell that the info didn't come from Ricky or Anna or Nathaniel or anyone else. It's all you.
