Why would God give a specific group of people a set of laws to follow, severely punish and even kill them when they don't keep the laws. Then allow everyone else to inherit the kingdom WITHOUT following those laws that 10s of millions were previously punished for. THAT DOES NOT MAKE SINCE. Our father is just and righteous. We are not connected to a camp but we listen to teachings from a variety of camps along with Dante Fortson, Stephen Darby, We Woke Now, as well as others. I believe that there is no one that has it 100% right but we pray, read the Bible and seek the Father and do the best that we can. When the Messiah returns then we will have a better understanding. Some camps believe certain things that we don’t believe. Eat the meat and throw away the bones. I caution just staying in the NLT. Parallel Bibles and using Bible apps to compare different translations are helpful. I agree with being careful to not become prideful. I noticed pride in some of the videos that we watched.

Your experiences and understanding of things are valid. The Bible states that ANYONE who proclaims Christ as the son of God will receive the kingdom of heaven. Even the Jews, Christ reprimanded and said they were sons of the devil, for they did not accept him (John 8:39-47). I like that you were asked, "Do you know Jesus?" and you thought about it. I was a BHI for about ten yrs. I find that the doctrine facilitates anger, arguments and subjugation. I studied everyday and learned Hebrew. But the questions in the back of my mind needed to be answered. I decided to study the case against the bible particularly the Exodus. This lead me to biblical scholarship and it didn't take long for me to realize the truth. I hope you have found peace of mind in your journey... i sure have. Jesus said the highest commandment (after loving the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength) is to love thy neighbor as thyself. The amount of hate in these comments makes me understand how people clamored for Him to be crucified. It is so easy to be full of self, pumped up with false specialness, and worry about who’s “chosen” and what not. The hard thing to do is love others, not worry about if you’re better than other people. God bless you, sister. For me, I never got into a camp, but I did deep dive into the rabbit whole of information after praying to God for guidance on whether not the images of Jesus and other biblical historical figures in the publications my former bible study conductors gave me were valid (I was raised a JW). Needless to say, Yah opened my eyes to so much information that I really had to pace myself at times. My dad got really into it too and it gave him a sense of identity apart from the one that hes always been minimized to by American society. For me, I eventually began to realize that 1.) Yes I understand that the image of Jesus has been misrepresented by modern day Christianity and 2.) That we are the descendants of the Hebrew Israelites, but it became increasingly difficult to focus on who Christ is and my identity in Him. Not to mention how I also felt condemned to some degree because Im also mixed. According to some camps, mixing of races is prohibited. When found that out, it made me feel like I was an abomination to God for being mixed, or not of "pure Hebrew Israelite" blood and that the only way to fix it is to marry another black person so my descendants will turn out right. Along with that, there was so much pride emanating from many of the people in these camps (not all obviously!). And now Im kinda at the point its like I know what Jesus is suppose to look like (or more like what he didnt look like when he was here on earth), and I know according to scriptural what Hes done for the world, but what how does this affect me? What does it mean for me that Christ died for MY sins? I've read the Gospel back and forth countless of times since, but its hard for me to wrap my head around certain things. Getting caught up in and solely focusing on all of this has prevented me from truly understanding who Christ is. Thats basically all I'm really trying to focus on right now.

In all honesty, I was trying to follow this story, and I kid you not, I played it three times and still haven't gotten beyond the rambling of it was not fulfilling to her. If I am going to warn someone of anything or anyone, I need to be clear and very specific so as to not confuse anyone. This story seem to be centered on her exiting the Hebrew Isreaelite movement and while many were agreeing or commending her for doing so, it is clear some doing so seem to also have had some sort of not so good experience with this group. What you may be trying to get out is synonymous with mainly every religious touting organizations out there. This is why it is important to conduct your own bible study so you know what you are investing in. We do that before we make purchase of material things, why not do so for something on which your life sits depending on the choices you make?. Anyone joining a Church, a Movement of any kind of Association for the soul purpose of getting to know Jesus, will be grossly deceived, because Christ will not be found in any man made building or movement but in the word of God. This was made very clear in his conversation with Nicodemus and the Samaritans woman when Christ said, those coming to the father must now do so in the Spirit and truth. I have never joined this movement, because listening to them on the streets it is clear to me their approach is very militant in nature. and they appear over Zealous which according to the scripture, zeal can be misdirected, and discovering who you are in no way should give you the right to laud it over others. This in my opinion can be misdirected zeal. And I'll give you an example.Yeshua, or Jesus Christ as most knows him, was born into the tribe of Judah, which was the tribe living in the land together with Benjamin, the other ten being dispersed. These two morphed into each other and were called Jews. Judah had sinned, went into exile and upon their return to the land decided to follow the law but became over zealous to the point where they started misconstrueding the law. Matthew15:1-20, the Jewish religious leaders of the day accused Christ of disobeying age-old traditions and teaching his disciples to do the same. Jesus reply let them know their age - old traditions was actually violating the direct commandments of God. I can give you many more examples of this where Christ will say, " It is said, but I say" Jesus came to fulfill and at the same time soften the law, so instead of you do you die, it became you do, you repent and sin no more. Their belief in and application of the age-old laws is what caused them to sign him off for execution. I did not have to sit in any church or movement to figure out if they were running along those old condemned line, because I have the word of God always in my heart because I studied it for myself. We don't play Adam and Eve and start looking to blame others when we violate God's laws. The word is given to each of us, that's why Paul had high praises for the Bereans. Acts 17:10-12; When you do not get into the habit of self-educating on the word of God, you can end up in churches or group hopping and while all of these institutions may offer some truth, half truth is not truth. Your walk with the Lord has to be personal in order for it to be effective because that's how we defeat the enemy by sharing the love of Jesus that we personally experienced and letting others know this love can be had by everyone who is willing to make Christ their Lord and savior. We are living on the brink of time and our approach should not be that of someone consuming things that are bad for them then go running looking for antacids because what we ate is giving us indigestion. Study the word of God with the help of the Holy Spirit and you will be guided into all truth as promised through the scriptures. This teaching that we are going to be kings and queens with the rest of the world groveling at our feet is baseless and erroneous. As believers, we are not led by Moses as was Israel in ancient days, but by the Spirit of Yeshua the Christ. If you had the word of God your time in any one of these places would've been so short you will not have anything to report, so you entered these gates misdirected and exited ill-informed. As I said, every one of these organizations will offer you a slither of truth and if you are not careful you may find yourself hopping from one to the next looking for your truth. Jesus said, in the last days many will come in his name preaching he is the Christ and will deceive many. Christ made it clear that some of them will put yokes on you that they themselves are unwilling to carry. So my advice to everyone is to look before you leap, don't leap and fall and then go crying because you failed to read the sign that says, beware of false prophets and carefully examine the vehicle before you are about to purchase, less you buy cat in bag.
