This was a great video and I give thanks to Mr. Cumberbatch. My paternal grandmother was born in Grenada. My brother & I visited for the 1st time right before COVID shut things down. I felt such a connection while there & wish to return & invest somehow. I will be contacting Mr. Cumberbatch.

Such a great discussion! As someone who is seriously working to prepare to come back to the Caribbean to live before retirement, this has been helpful.

Hi Zoe. Great talk. Some people have moved back from being away for a very long time and the culture is different than what they remembered. This is why it’s difficult to adopt. In addition others who have take on the role of gatekeeper are discouraging them from giving back or getting ahead. Setting up committees in Grenada where new returnees can get more information in a group setting should be an option

He has great point, because most people leave there country and move abroad even it's for 3yrs max and whenever they go back home for even a visit they complain about everything and they never think about making a difference in wherever they're from because it's never greener on the other side.

I'd like to raise a subject rarely tackled : the small population ( less than 120 000), the lack of infrastructures such as SOLAR electricity generation, the lack of a good general hospital in spite of a School of Medicine. Can you elaborate on these basic infrastructures best tackled by the Government and/or civil society.

I would love to visit Grenada, and have been happy to see that people are working to diversify the Caribbean economy beyond tourism. Why shouldn't Grenada and the Caribbean become a new Singapore or Abu Dhabi?!!

Hi Zoe, That's great. I agree with him about moving forward and making a difference. So many people take it the wrong way when you come from abroad. But its for the whole island's benefit. Also its true who you know, but within reason. With Grenada being like a small community you could say word will get around easily . Maybe quicker than Facebook 😂😂. I did listen to the new PM, and it looks very promising for Grenada. Lets move forward and make a difference. But finally most importantly is that we can learn from each other. It does not have to be a one way street all the time, depending on what it is.

It never ceases to amaze me that many Grenadians who return to live in Grenada pretend that life abroad is 100% great. Many Grenadians living abroad do not have access to a great health care system. The reasons may include; lack of health insurance or lack of finances. In addition, many countries abroad have horrible infrastructure; including horrible roads in certain areas. All Grenadians living abroad do not live a luxurious life. Many of them live in poor conditions abroad due to certain circumstances. It must be a very uncomfortable subject matter...
