This hits pretty close to home, and I'm really happy realize there's plenty other people that grew with the game and realized that, in game as in real life, some time your goals are much more feasible than you think, just needing to start working on it. Loved this from start to finish

I have a few pieces of legendary gear now, and whenever I see them, it reminds me of how I got here and how it all happened. Ascension, my first legendary, I got through much hardship and struggles in PVP, becoming a better player, and understanding how the game works - and having encounters with some truly amazing people. Aurora, my second piece. My girlfriend and I earned it together. I still remember going through all of the achievements, the sheer relief I felt getting to the top of those damn jumping puzzles, or the happiness when I saw the The Wayfarer's Henge in my inventory after living in Draconis Mons for so long. The Prismatic Champion's Regalia was the pinnacle of story, the reward for finishing every story chapter up to the end of End of Dragons. Every week, my girlfriend and I would do a story mission or two, or some achievement or collection, and after a year and a half or so of playing, we finished the story, and had this to our name. Finally, my Heavy Perfected Envoy set. I made the last piece today. The only reason I even got into raiding was because a meta group I ran with (shout out to TvT!) had a guild a lot of their members belonged to. That guild became our second home. At some point they started doing raid training groups, and we joined. Took a ton of effort, practice and learning, but with their patience and help, I became strong enough to wear this armor. This video brought a tear to my eye, it perfectly captures why I play Guild Wars in ways I could never put to words. Thank you for reminding me why i play this game, and remind me of everything I've experienced here, and everyone I've experienced it with. Guild Wars 2 isn't just a game; it's a journey -- and I enjoy it every step of the way.
