I've never heard somebody describe the creative process quite like you did here, but I think you're totally right. The sudden, intense burst of creativity that happens before you begin to doubt or question what it is you're creating. Anyway, thought that was some cool insight. Love your videos!

I bought Oceania a year ago and I love it. In fact, I have Soundiron Venus and Mars (when I was addicted to audioplugins, people be careful with these things!) and I don't use them as much because they are very complex (and boring) to use. Some articulations are good and it sounds well, but my main choir library is Oceania. Great video and great advice! PS Also, what I like about Performance Samples is that they tell you the limitations of their libraries! So honest :D

Adaptive playing and fast attack performances? I'm in love :p! I always thought these adaptive products were "too good to be true", but you got my interest. I like the stacattos to be super tight tho, I guess there is no perfect library

You totally nailed it - how you described the creative process and the bugging, critical voice... spot on! Although, often to me that voice comes later, much later sometimes but in a way it's always present, just like a tingle in the background, a thought, a sensation that... you're not quite there, buddy - try again! ;)

I'm a _very_ proud owner of some of their products. I have high respects for PS, and they deserve all the great recognition they get for their intelligent writing, production and performance. Other than them, my top producers are _ProjectSAM,_ _BestService,_ and _DSK Music._

What impresses me about PA, besides their sound and writing, that is, is their transparency on their products. Everything is transparently communicated - requirements, limitations, etc. Love it>>

Am I missing something, or the Angry Brass (and many others) freebies available on Performance Samples website are only demo versions which expire after a while you play them? I wasn't able to use them anymore after 5-10 minutes.

Alex, is it possible that with some libraries brso KSs connection may work incorrectly? I have libraries where now I can put away KS, using just this colouring mode, but in some ones not all articulations are triggered properly.

I have a question. When you want to arrange a piece, say it's a piano piece and you want to add orchestral arrangement to it to sweeten it, maybe it's a pop song. What sample libraries do you reccomend for playing short sustained chords a bit like the piano works, not all pieces require very short immediate attack or long attacks, when we need something in between.

Not strictly related to Performance Samples, but is it not possible to set a negative delay on MIDI tracks, in FL? Many sample library manufacturers provide values for that. In fact, I believe Performance Samples mentions those values for their shorts library

Good point, I never thought of that solution before! Maybe that can be achieved with manual delay time compensation in FL Studio, will give it a try.

i just got kontakt 6 for free ('cause it actually is free now, idk why) and downloaded river harp from performance samples, but i cant put the library in the "libraries" section in kontakt's interface, could you help me?

you have the fee version of kontakt, you can import the instrument in kontakt player and have it for 15 mins

@@kielioppivirhe7799 well, i guess a full kontakt can always be useful (many libs uses it), but I'd also suggest to look on kvr for a "used" kontakt, at the time I paid something like 200 for Komplete 10 ( which included full kontakt) But if angry brass would be the only lib that you can use on kontakt, then I'd say skip it...

Bro MOST of these vst's look and feel like you have to take college courses to understand how to use them. As a producer, MOST of the time I'm trying to get my creative ideas out as fast and efficiently as possible. When I have the funds, I'm buying all of their libraries.

You get a level of realism that you just can't attain with conventional sample libraries. Well, maybe you sort of can but by the time you've programmed all of those articulations, you've lost a huge amount of time and energy.
