Love my XT3, only thing I wish Fujifilm will fix this on a firmware update is letting user save white balance shift for individual custom settings, like all the newer bodies. That’s not too much to ask for lol!

Sold my X-T3 at the start of the pandemic as it was ‘my’ camera for me as a luxury item. Love the user experience, images, ergonomics….. As soon as the pandemic subsided and my husband’s business was no longer in jeopardy - I could not wait to get another one in my hands. Just recently bought it again because I missed it so much. Great video, Chris. It is still such an enjoyable camera to use. So glad I was fortunate enough to pick it up again.

I updated to the X-T4 simply because I have found that, due to age (darn it), IBIS is a big deal. The greater battery capacity is certainly a plus, and since I mainly use the viewfinder, the screen is a non-issue. In fact, I like that it flips closed when not in use. Having said that, I would add that another big plus for the X-T3 is how well it has held its value, making the jump to the newer model less painful. (Both KEH and MPB are making it much easier to recycle used gear without the fuss of going through online auctions.) Its always a a pleasure watching your videos. Your positive approach makes my day much more enjoyable.

Came from a D3500 that I barely used, thought about getting G2 glass from Tamron when someone convinced me that the glass would very much outrun the body. I agreed. Early 2022 grabbed an X-T3 & have loved it every time I use it. Plus the savings on money vs the X-T4. I don't need anything for video so an X-T3 made a lot more sense. Also lucky to have you & one other channel for good Fuji info.

I owned my last film camera for over a decade. Then I got my first digital camera in 2004. After that, thanks to marketing and the "pixel race", I bought a new digital camera every 2-3 years from then. I eventually got tired of all that. After traveling with my X-E3 for about a year, I liked it so much I bought an X-T3 to replace my Nikon DSLR and basically went 100% Fujifilm. Not only have I never reconsidered going back to full frame, I haven't even considered one of Fujifilm's newer options. I love the X-T3.

I love my XT3! I dipped my toe into the Fujufilm water several years ago with the X100F. Shortly after using it, I sold all of my Canon full Frame DSLR gear and dove into Fujifilm with the XT3 and 3 Fujifilm lenses and never looked back. I'm interested to see what Fuji has in store for the XT5. I love the XT-3's LCD screen and hope against hope that the XT5 will have it rather than the flippy screen. If not, I may just keep on trucking' with this XT-3 beauty! Have a great weekend, Chris!

I got two X-T3's for video since that's pretty much all of my work, and the fact that Canon and Sony's APS-C cameras STILL haven't caught up to the X-T3 in functionality and flexibility with the possible image that you can get out of it, it really shows how much effort Fujifilm has put into not just crafting a really fun and creative experience (which is a huge perk in and of itself), but also giving you the ability to do so much more with the image than pretty much any other camera around that price point.

I've got the X-T2, and I don't like to use the word "LOVE" to describe an object or a tool, but I still love my X-T2, and have no reason to upgrade at this point (6 years after my purchase). The prints I make on my 13" x 19" Canon printer look remarkable. So I really don't need the newest, shiniest, best camera on the market; honestly. This camera does everything I need. Sure, I would like to have some of the features of the X-T3 or X-T4? Yes, but I don't NEED them. At some point I might move to the latest-and-greatest X-series camera, and have the X-T2 converted to infrared, or keep it as a backup. But for now, I'm sticking with my beloved X-T2. :-) Thanks for the great videos pal2tech!!!

When I was shopping for a camera I checked out many different options over about a year's time. The XT-3 ended up as my choice for several reasons. First, it was the most affordable and capable camera for the cost. I was able to find a barely used, like new body with the 18-55, the Fuji grip(non battery), extra batteries, chargers and all still in the original boxes for about half the cost of just a body for other brands. Secondly, I wanted something that I could learn/improve with yet would be of high quality for a fairly long time and still adequate as I become a better photographer. Plus, would be good if I decided to give videography a shot some day. Finally, since the last camera I used was my Ricoh XR-P from 1984, I liked that the XT-3 had the physical controls, especially the aperture ring on the lenses. In the end, after watching loads of videos by people like Chris, Omar Gonzales, Mark Denney, Thomas Heaton and many others I decided on the XT-3. The community around this camera is so good. There is so much help and information available out there when you need it. So far, it's been a great camera and a great experience.

I liked the X-T3 so much that, thanks to $999 sales, I ended up with 3 of them. I dedicated one to Zoom calls, with the battery grip that enables the use of wall power, and with the port door removed (yay!). The video autofocus works great for Zooming - I don't have to worry about it. Also, people on the calls sometimes remark on the good image quality. The other two bodies are dedicated to photography. Agree about the metering dial! And I love the tilting LCD, though I understand the appeal of the flippy screens. It's a really well designed camera. It's a classic! I'm hoping the X-T5 will be another milestone.

Things like the L & H setting on the dial are great things for photographers. As a life long photographer I have always found it’s the the simple things that help a photographer in the moment that really count. You can forget about all those in-depth menu settings - that’s just nuances. A good sensor with good processor and logical, quick access to the important exposure triangle settings is what really matters. Although I use a couple of different Fuji X-E cameras, my main camera is a full frame Pentax K-1 and they’ve really nailed the ergonomics with buttons and dials that work and feel great in action. These are the things that help you in the field

So I got a brand new X-T3 for 950 euros (about 1000 USD) and i love it. I coudn't be happier. I don't shoot movies and although I reckon IBIS is a great feature which I could give use to, I saved a couple hundred euros ( comparing to the XT4) to get me some more Fuji glass :D PS: the XS10 was not an option since I tried one and felt I was going backwards by losing those sweet manual dials. I was on the wait list for the X-T30 II when the price dropped on the X-T3. I’m glad I made the decision to switch. I knew the X-T4 was more camera than I needed. My only complaint is that Fuji ships the new cameras without a physical manual. Luckily I was able to get one from KEH.

I've had my XT3 for about 2 years now and have taken maybe 50 shots with it; it's basically brand new in the box. I need to use it more. It's a beautiful camera but I also have an XT20 which I use all the time that I've been kicking around for a few years that still works great

@@mr.b4444 Judging by the way Fuji's hardware design is going... The X-T3 is a keeper. I think you'd be making a mistake in selling it!

Oh, nice to hear that, I ordered mi x-t3 just few hours ago, to upgrade my x-st30. No need of this review to decide, but I appreciate the confirmation that you consider it still a modern camera after 4 years from its debut.

Indeed, one of my Street Fuji gears, black XT3 with the amazing 33mm f1.4 for night street photography (and DxO for denoizing high iso RAW).

Coming from Canon, X-T3 is camera since it has been released. I have no feeling I need to upgrade it. Even better, the more I lean to use it, the more it helps me to improve my skills. I would even dare to say now I shoot only raw and use Capture One that the camera is becoming a smaller part of the equation. Now my settings are the minimum because I know C1 will do the job after. The most important thing for me is to get the best frame in order to avoid too crop too much after (the only drawback of APS-C). I think, except for pros, with an X-T2 you are already beyond the most amazing possiblities in 90 % of the situations, upgrading is marketing.

Huge fan of the xt3 as well. Bought a second one used this year and they're the cameras I use for weddings. Yes IBIS, faster focus and a little better high ISO performance would be nice, but for a camera that is 4 years old I think that it's still holding it own. I was very worried about the battery performance in the beginning, but once you learn how to manage it, you can do a wedding day and take 3000 pics with 4 batteries which I feel is fine. Thanks for yet another enjoyable video !!

I paid just a bit more than 1000 bucks for the X-T3 in late 2019. It was Fuji cashback time and the shop I bought it from gave another one. That was a bargain. I still love it. It doesn't feel like an outdated camera at all.

What about the more compact XT-30? It would be great if you could make a video on that someday, since from what I understand it is a bit simplified and cheaper version of the X-T3.

X-T3 is a great camera! The only reason I like my X-T4 better is the stabilization and battery life. If it weren't for that, I'd have no issues buying an x-t3. I even would go back to the x-t2.. miss that camera.

My XT-3 is less than a year old and it has a busted up expo comp dial and other scruffs from being used in a lot different places. I have a metal hand grip on it for added protection and being able to hold it comfortably. I love the button on the side of the lcd screen to flip it upwards in portrait mode. Battery life is pretty good; I always carry an extra with me. The only thing is the lack of IBIS for handheld videos.

This is so reassuring 😀 I’m ‘cutting my teeth’ on an XT3 that I bought a couple of years back. Then the 4 came along with in body stabilisation and I started to feel a bit left behind. Then I told myself “Hey, this 3 doesn’t suddenly become a bad camera.” Which I knew all along of course but seeing you confirm this…well, it’s a good feeling. Greetings from Co. Tipperary and thanks for all the good video content. The best. 📷
