I am disabled and have a good experience with Walmart +, once in a while I get an idiot driver but for the most part my deliveries are on time with no complications.

I am exactly in the Same Boat! They are soon deceptive re their lack of delivering when they say they will. Several days ago they NEVER SHOWED UO AFTER 4 PROMISED TIMES OVER 3 DAYS! THEN THEY BLOCKED ME FROM USING 'REFUND'😮 No wander they are going out of business in so many areas😂😅🎉

I will not be renewing Walmart plus, it makes zero sense to pay Wallyworld for "free delivery" then get charged a tip, because it is NOT Walmart that pays for the delivery driver, they use drivers that drive for tips. So WTF am I paying Walmart? They want the customer to pay them, then they do not even pay for the driver or delivery. Staying with Amazon and cancelling Walmart plus.

They expect us to tip the driver $7+ and purchase a minimum $35. That's a deal killer. When you realize that a third-party driver who isn't employed by Wal-mart is going to know when you don't tip him and take it personally, it is a little discomfiting. That should not be an option. It may seem trivial, but the whole concern could have been avoided. I wanted this to work and the resources Walmart has, they can compete head-to-head with Amazon. Instead, they will take the pussy approach and they will lose

$7 is the default. You can adjust this 24 hours after delivery. It’s not an expectation. It a incentive to get more drivers to deliver for them. I almost always adjust the amount based on serviced received after delivery.

As a driver I will tell you we will block delivering to you, eventually, if you keep taking away our livelihood. Most drivers take our job seriously and if you have a bit of common sense, as this guy here on the video says, tipping is customary since we are using our gas, car, time to bring you your order from store to door. And if you don’t understand that we don’t pack your orders, we only deliver them and we do not have control over inventory at the store.

@@tbryan1196 that sounds Iike a you problem in my opinion. I’m not going to tip someone for driving less than 3 miles to simply drop something off at my door step. It’s not my fault that DoorDash doesn’t pay you appropriately, it’s not my responsibility to pay you a dime. Find an appropriate paying job if you want better pay, that is 100% on you and the shitty company you work for not paying you a good wage and expecting to make up for it with tips, not me but anyone else. With your attitude I wouldn’t give you anything, and I could care less if you don’t deliver to me again someone else will and I’ll probably tip them for not being an idiot.

The Plus drivers don't know if they got a tip until WELL AFTER the delivery. According to Walmart, you have 10 days to add or edit the tip. That means they don't even see the tip for 10 days. This also helps protect the customer from revenge since they don't know who left the tip and when.

And I don't like how they force you into their stores to pick up all or part of your order because they have it at your local store. But, not everyone has a damm car to just hop in and zip to the store and pick up what they were expecting to have delivered. Some people like myself, live in semi-rural areas where bus service is very slow. And some of us are elder or disabled. Which make it even harder to travel. *-----Q-----*

Beware of home delivery from Walmart, recently my package was delivered, but the item was missing from the inside and Walmart did not refund me even after multiple follow-ups.

Tips are a huge consideration and Walmart should advise potential subscribers to the fee for delivering groceries. Instead the completely omit it. I tried Walmart plus and I too canceled it because it’s not free delivery of groceries. I will just keep doing pickup’s or go into the store.

It started off free delivery then they decided to make you spend a minimum of 35 . No point in paying membership because the minimum is the same with out membership too

@barbarav7322 I love it I was on vacation and they brought stuff right to my hotel. During Christmas. I wanted to send my brother a gift. And it came right to his house. It's convenient.. Time to call the money and Matt half. Paint to go to the store, save me hundreds of dollars each week when you factor my time.

I have used Walmart delivery for over a year. My last delivery is a nightmare. First, they delivered SIX large bottles of Listerine (I had only ordered 2). The next day they delivered 3 more bottles of Listerine. The rest of my $198 order was missing. Part of this order was to be shipped. Next, they send an e-mail stating the $39 item was delivered - it was not - I have TWO cameras on my front door - nothing was delivered. I did get a small refund - think I should have got a bigger refund. Still waiting to see if a few more items are delivered - then I will cancel. This is the first time this has happened - it will be the last - VERY difficult to get someone to talk to. I have 9 bottles of Listerine!!!

I have an illness that keeps me home. I need to have my groceries delivered. Walmart is always asking me to tip the driver. I am already paying them a monthly fee to get the service “free.” Do they tax the tips that they collect for the driver? It seems like they would have to.

To each his own but I will say that mobile scan and go is a great feature. I got my own heavy duty cloth grocery bags that I bought from Amazon and when I go to Walmart I can scan and bag my groceries myself while I shop. And when it’s time to pay I simply scan the barcode on the checkout screen, then confirm purchase, and that’s it. It takes like 5 seconds to pay and check out all my groceries. But like I said, to each his own.

I prefer to go to Walmart but I am disabled and use a walker. I’m looking into the Walmart plus because it’s hard for my bringing food from my car. So for me I will probably use the Walmart plus. Specially if it’s snowing or raining outside.

same here. but I have had deliveries dropped off at the wrong address. make sure you uncheck the option for them to drop off unattended. you want to sign for it because that ensures they get the proper address.

The struggle is real. It just took me days to get distilled water and enough plain kefir and half n half for hopefully half the month. I had to raise sand to get them to take my quarts of kefir off a 2 per order limit-- I drink one a day! I'm glad they're shipping the gallons of water now. They are momentarily on my good list, but it was like pulling teeth to get someone to pay attention. Of course, the 12 I ordered didn't come to 35$, so I added a couple waters, and my 1/2 and 1/2. And, tipped 8 bucks, cash. Just a little over what their super shifty tip manager had suggested. This is the 2nd order they've gotten right since I joined. Other drivers show up early, dump my stuff, fluttering with extra plastic bags ON the gallons of water, and run like the wind. They either take it down the hill and into the back yard, or throw it down against the storm door, which won't then open from inside, necessitating a walk around my home in order to liberate the door from the other side- it's ridiculous! This is March 2022- who on earth do they use to make deli eries?

Its worth it to me if they knock on my door, but if not my food sits with the critters and bugs when that happens, I go look at the tip I gave...

I canceled because they were charging me $34.xx/mo. no $12.xx (No idea why).......Main reason was I ordered some groceries (about $45 worth) but was not delivered....... They said they could find driver...A lady on Facebook Walmart said it was the tip amount........Seems the drivers are running the store.........

Really thorough video, and still relevant in October 2021. I find that the delivery part is extremely helpful for those who are disabled and cannot drive. Still, they use third party DoorDash drivers so I feel the obligation to tip. This limits how many orders I can place per month. Amazon Prime and Target are my main go-to’s for household supplies. Walmart+ isn’t worth it anymore.

They claim they save me money but I have to add a tip of $10 or more every week. So for using this service I pay an extra $13 a month and then an extra $50 a month for tips.... Plus I can't use my WIC card. I hate that I can't just go to the store. I literally HAVE to use this because I don't have a car ATM and I have twin toddlers

Unless you are ordering a lot of stuff or the weather is particularly bad I feel like $5 is fair. If you can afford $10, great. But I don't think $5 is a terrible tip for a small to medium order.

Tonight i was waiting on a food delivery. Was suppose to arrive btwn 7 and 8 pm. I was sent msg saying it was delayed and wld be there by 8:28. Well it got here at 9pm. The delivery girl left my food at the security desk when it clearly said i wanted to sign for it. She just left it downstairs. I NVR leave a tip online bc i would be paying a tip for services not yet rendered. Also ive worked where 99 percent of my online tips were stolen by the company and i quit. I always tip but not online. Anyway the security guard brought my groceries upstairs on the elevator and i gave her the 10.00 i was gng to give the driver. It was only 80.00 worth of food, not much. I will be calling Walmart in the morning abt this individual

i love teh walmart plus i dont drive adn walmart has cheaper prices then other stores and i dont have to deal with teh long lines in the store and people in my way walking down the isles i make about 3 to 4 deliveries a month i love staying home every day

Wow, you like going to walmart??? Can't stand it, cheapest place for dog food, but seems like it always takes 30-60 min to get checked out. maybe it's area dependent though, one by my old place wasn't as bad.. I'll buy the whole shelf of that food so I don't have to go back for a month or two. Might try it

Will not renew our membership. Not worth our safety having all kinds of Uber drivers finding the address, coming onto property handling fresh food. No Spark drivers left..Many trips with damaged grocery items and reported problems such as property damage to fence and unprofessional drivers in 1.5 yrs . Done, back to using pick up

98 bucks is to much. I order maybe 4 to 5 times a years, so it isn't worth it. Also, you have to tip your delivery driver so that costs even more. If it was 40 to 50 bucks maybe worth it. 98 bucks, not so much.

Cool break down. I paid for the year and I think it is worth it. It has some pros and cons but can be improved - scan and go. I use this often and use the re-usable bags and just scan the kiosk and walk out. Not having to worry about having everything on the little kiosk before check-out is a plus and automatic stored receipts for returns. The interaction takes about 10sec. - stores are everywhere most common products are available vs amazon - Murphy Gas stations are either on-site or within walking distance and/or Sams club accepts the discount too. - $35 delivery limit was removed for non-grocery items -Scan and go This could be improved by having separate kiosk for plus. The only time i need to interact more is if I am buying produce that needs to be weighed. -no video or music service as of yet - less product options vs amazon.

This is how I feel you can tip three dollars and someone’s gonna bring it. There’s too many people that need to work they have to pay the rent they have to pay the electric gas water etc. if you’re hurting that bad to pay three dollars how the hell you’re gonna make it to Walmart in the first place on your own tank of gas😂🎉😅
