I honestly don't know why people are really in an uproar about a name change lol. I'm sorry I'm just not understanding it. People change their usernames all the time. This is exactly what Essie Button, now Estée Lalonde, was talking about a few weeks ago too. In the same way you've just talked about she said she's just gradually strayed away from wanting to talk about make-up in every video so she renamed her channel to make a point that there's more to her than just her make-up and hair products and such. I think it's a really good idea to branch out and show people more aspects of your life and your other hobbies and opinions. Ingrid Nilsen's channel content has changed a lot too over the past year, it feels like you guys who have been making videos for years are now growing up and making way for new youtubers to take your place as beauty gurus while you guys move on to new ideas. Upwards and onwards, Sammi, can't wait to see what you've got in store from here! :) x

I hate to say it but I 'went off' a lot of other bloggers and KZfaqrs as they got more famous and made more money, purely because I couldn't relate to them anymore, and their priorities changed. I think it's great that you felt the need to change your name and rebrand yourself. I'm in the process of rebranding my channel. This channel has always been strictly a beauty channel but I decided I want to do other things on this channel as well. I want to show some of my other hobbies and what I'm really about. Even though I'm not a big KZfaqr now I still don't want to be known as just a beauty guru if I did become big. I'm an artist and I have other talents. I'm just struggling with the name change. I've been Seana Sparkle for years on KZfaq and all my social media. But as an Artist and a brand I'm Daseana. So I'm still trying to decide if I should change my name or not. Then the thing that's frustrating is, that I can't have my url to what I want it. I wanted to be just Seana Sparkle but I can change my url to this. I thought of changing my name to Daseana, and I can't even have that url either. If I go to that KZfaq address it says that channel doesn't exist, yet it says too many people have that name. Maybe I can try adding my middle name in it too, but I just wanted my first name for KZfaq.

I LoVe that ysl lip and cheek product, I've never heard anyone else mention it! Bet it's even better in a ysl bag!
