Florida lawyer Jonathan Pollard discusses his new 100 Case Theory. Pollard is filing 100 new cases on behalf of employees. These cases involve race discrimination, age discrimination, sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, retaliation, and companies defaming former employees.

Pollard maintains that corporate America, insurance carriers, and corporate defense lawyers routinely make lowball settlement offers in these cases prior to summary judgment. And - unfortunately - many plaintiff-side employment lawyers advise their clients to accept those lowball offers.
As a result, Pollard maintains that many plaintiff-side employment cases are being settled for a fraction of their actual value. IE: Cases worth $200,000 are routinely being settled for $20,000 pre-suit.
Pollard intends to file 100+ new cases and help his clients to either insist on a reasonable settlement or trial.
This DOES NOT mean that most cases are worth significant money. In fact, Pollard rejects 90 to 95% of all possible cases that come through his office.

Yup, 95% of the potential cases that come in my door are not worth suing or even filing an EEOC charge over. Good luck with your cases!
