2 жыл бұрынDespite all the constant stream of negative press surrounding this rocket, there is in fact another side to SLS, a far more inspiring, and amazing side. And on this channel, I will strive to bring that side of SLS to light for all to see!
Join me as we follow this mighty rocket on her journey into annals of history as NASA's most powerful rocket, and the rocket that returned humans to the moon!
The road will not be smooth, and there will be setbacks, but the destination will be well worth the wait!

It's a strange situation that right now everything is ready or close to ready (SLS, Orion, Gateway)... Everything except the actual lander. Won't be much return to the moon without it.

Gateway is in no way ready and contracts for it were given years before HLS

@@iamarokotmanson To be a fire I don't expect Starship HLS to land on the moon before 2028 Gatway will be ready by then

@@iamarokotmanson But Gateway isn't necessary for the first landings, so even if it is delayed it won't fully stop Artemis like lacking a lander.

@@iamarokotmanson Sure, but the problem is we're already in the final part of 2021, and the planned landing was supposed to be in 2024. None of the contestants, including the winner SpaceX, will be anywhere near ready by then. Which leaves Artemis in this weird state. I think they should have started on a lander at the same time as SLS. Designing a lunar lander is complicated and takes time.

Why does everyone think starship is against sls? Elon musk said that the purpose of spacex was to get the public interest in space to help fund nasa. They are working together, you know. I don’t care who’s first. For once we get to work together to achieve a goal and we all start pointing non existent guns at each other. Sls is awesome. Starship is awesome. Just let it be.

NASA shoud always have gigantic Moon rockets may the past 50 years just be a laps in our judgment and may we Have gigantic Moon rockets for the Next 50. May we land one the moon every year bild station and the moon. Launch huge Telescopes hell bild vehicles to mars.

It is essentially polyurethane foam, if you were interested. So I wouldn't recommend it.

@@stevemak8620 Yeah, if you've actually witnessed the spaceflight industry as a whole you'd know that Starship probably won't end up the way it was intended. What's more likely to happen is that it will find a way to go up in a big fire ball and because of the location that it will fly from it'll be fucked.

@@stevemak8620 How sure are you Starship will succeed? Im not saying its guranteed to fail but it still has the potential to Elon Musk isnt a god. Meanwhile SLS is a miracle of NASA's current situation. Sure its not cheap, but hey we have the means to send people around the moon now. Meanwhile Starship hasnt even flown an orbital flight yet

what you are interested is completely up to you! and in my case, i am interested in both SLS and starship, but EVERYONE talks about starship, meanwhile, SLS gets next to nothing in terms of coverage and positive press. and i want to change that!

@@DavidWillisSLS Overpriced and over budget legacy burdened rockets are not good rockets. SLS is a study in what happens when you run out of good ideas and want to keep the money flowing. Times change. It is now about iterative development, cost containment, timeline focus, and reusability. There is a reason just about every large and respected space program around the world is scrambling to make their own Falcon 9's and to test and develop a Starship of their own. They can see what is coming their way.
