I’m tuned it, hoped to see the Sheetrock getting put up. I’m getting my window wall turned into a regular wall but the wall in facing outside. I have a question. The contractor says no need for joint compound and tape due to a new method with only using caulking. How sufficient is that to use only caulking, in your opinion? ? Because I’m not trusting it so much…. 😩

Hi Shanelle. I’m glad to hear that you’re liking the videos. I’ve never heard of hanging drywall and then finishing the drywall with just caulking. I’d have to understand the full scope of the project. Usually, you hang drywall, then you float, tape, and finish the drywall to a specific level of 1-5. I hope that helps. 🙏👍

@@darryldarksI’m no “Betty the Builder” but, I know a little bit of something watching my parents build our childhood home. Even my mother says she never heard of just using caulk! I appreciate you responding and I’ll be sure to enlighten the contractor that regardless of the dust he wants to avoid, baby you gotta joint this wall!! Yes sir! Thank ya!
