90% dr in song of flame, 30% for nearby teammates

If what I heard is correct, the damage resistance for song of flame is around 90% for yourself and around 30% for allies. So if you plop down a touch of flame speaker turret and then use ur super whilst using the support frame auto, you basically have a better well that can still put in good damage as long as the nades can still hit

If you use Touch of Flame the Restoration x2 from throwing the healing grenade works with the healing turret. So once the auto is fixed you can still get that buff

Song of flame just honestly feels the best on solar or prismatic, and so good with demo rockets

Add a slice in the kinetic and you’ll help your team stay alive all the more.

Only thing I will say about the auto is that the restoration x2 is a bug they addressed. It's supposed to only give resto x1 with increased duration.

Song of flame is just more fun than well. Your genuinely lethal while still have survivability.

Worth mentioning, this works for ranged boss fights as well if you just use celestial fire. I ran this for first boss on contest as the tractor player with apotheosis veil and it perma stunlocks for the entire damage phase.

Apex with Demo and Bipod. Fire two rockets to trigger the ignition as stated. Toss a super nade to reload two rockets. Loop.

I've been doing the same since I've gotten my hands on Speaker's Helm. After half a decade or so, I can finally play warlock the way I first thought the class was supposed to be. The call, No Hesitation, Tractor, Gally, Dragon's Breath have been my go to weapons for it. The Edge of Intent (Warlock Glaive) might be a good idea too, especially on double special loadouts.

Another thing song of flame does is increase your ally ability regen. This can add up to a lot if your team is running demo on solar rockets.

With the final shape the changes made it so Warlocks have a clear team roll as support, hunters have a clear team roll as DPS, and titans have a clear roll of... Being a ball and chain.... Hopefully this gets fixed. Class identity matters.

well of radiance also does something pretty awewsome by generating 3 orbs on placement which give everyone max surges for DPS AND it starts regening a ssoonas you place it down which usually means you end the damage phase with like half of your well back if not more, i dunno i still think well is pretty strong i dont think song of flame is a 100% replacement but it is cool

does eating the grenade with heat rises still create the healing turret? and does empowering rift stack with radiant?

What they should have done was cut the healing in half, bring the dr against bosses down to 25 instead of 10, and then move the damage buff to phoenix protocol. Making the radiance longer upon leaving the well just means they literally moved bubbles functionality to well

correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't song of flame make nearby allies radiant on its own? if true, this removes the need for ember of torches unless you enter damage without your super and need another way to apply radiant, and it lengthens your super overall because you aren't spending energy on melees.

star eater bond + tractor + radiance is fun

Glaives also gain scorch on the melee attack. 6 hits cause ignitions, been pairing it with winterbite to get ignitions and shatters at the same time. Does more damage then using just abilities during Song of Flame.

Heat rises with touch of flame when using song of flame gives you the option to be a mobile well. You burst heal then give ×2 restoration every 2 seconds while at the same time making everyone radiant.

What was the percentage increase for the dragon's breath damage?

So its more then worth to switch from well to song even in team based environment...but you'll probably need speakers+healing ar?

I haven't played final shape yet. Would running celestial fire make a difference for ranged fights while in song of flame? Incinerator snap still seems to have a lot of fall off even while juiced by the super. Or does the song of flame convert your melee ability??

Song of flame with star eater apotheosis and tractor is so good. You do similar damage to teammates with swords on that first boss in SE and your running tractor.

I don't understand why you chose to include the 10% support frame buff in song of flame but not well? What stops you from using the support frame AR in well also?

never thought id see the day but this is litteraly a healer for dps. not just a throw down a well and back to beeing a dps. hope the titan players get to actually be tanks soon.

Can you please test how much scorch you apply or how many ignitions or just how much damage you get if you use a caster frame polaris lance perk Ergo Sum with someone else providing wolfpack rounds to it? From this you've shown that each wolfpack round applies scorch and it SHOULD also accelerate the Polaris Lance trigger and possibly even apply scorch per DoT tick from the heavy attack. From a pure damage perspective it might even be worth running Dawn Chorus although obviously the Speaker Mask is better for team situations. Only downside there is you really want to play Prismatic for the boost while Transcendent on Ergo Sum.

been using this build though with a witherhoard and apex with demo so i could fire all my shots without ever needing to reload. Would using Gally do better damage then a apex demo to spam rockets during song of flame? thos woldpack rocket ignitions out pacing bait and switch apex with no reloads? if so, then cool, I can bring gally and not feel like I do zero damage lol. and i guess I can use the new area denial frame over witherhorde then

Song of flames is the new Starfire Protocol but for the whole fireteam, when someone pops SOF everyone should start throwing their Grenades and Melee abilities while using weapons

Don’t forget that while using Hellion aspect + Embers of Ashes and Benevolence, you can pretty much spam your class ability (rift or phoenix dive) during a boss damage phase and have infinite Solar buddy uptime.

Idk I’m made a speaker sight build the first week and it gives me resto x2 everytime… can’t figure out why lol…

I do still feel there is a place for well, especially in a place with suppression, or situations where a stomp scatters people might scatter the source of healing and now someone’s down, but it is nice having a more hands on more effective option, though i dont think it’ll be as clear to people, especially with how fast you can lose yr super depends on how much abilities you use

If you have apex with reconstruction with the timing down you can do your abilities on any boss.phase and still get nearly all your rockets off

I don’t think you need Touch of Flame on this build, because the speaker turret will only give you 1x restoration with or without it. Could sub in Icarus for movement or Heat Rise for melee regen in the neutral game easily.

I really hope they continue down this path, maybe make titan lean towards a tanking role? But maybe with agro fragments, a spam able shield etc. The fact it has a skill game is so much better now

Been using necrotic grips and star eaters class item. Get super damage and my super melee spreads poison on top of it. Super potent. Use devour and arc slide melee and just poison everything and heal off of kills. Been in love since i have put it on.

Not only did they nerf well, but they gave us a cracked out version of it just without the healing… I definitely see them nerfing song of flame eventually

If you have Claw from the class ability it lets you spam melee in radiance.

Try a 1-2 Punch Shotty, with a Apotheosis and Syntho class item. With Song of flame... the 1-2 Punch shotty Stacks with the Song of Flame Melee, on top of Radiant. The shotty Damage and the Melee damage boost is great, add Syntho for the melee boost, and Apotheosis to keep the melee loop going for a little longer after super ends. The combo works well, cause the time it takes to shoot the shotty and reload a shot, is enough time for the Song of Flame melee to charge back up. Having alot of fun with this build for damage.

Wings of Sacred Dawn, microcosm, Permeability sidearm rocket, the supremacy sniper with rewind/K-Tremors, and use the super song of flame, phoenix dive, aspect hellion, fragments - ember of benevolence, singeing, empyrean, and solace. 100 resilience and high as possible intellect and I think this could be the next don't die at the witness DPS phase also just float in the air the whole time. Hellion stays up almost infinite I have phoenix dive back usually 5 seconds before it runs out also scout rifle Transfiguration with rewind and explosive never runs out of ammo so you could be a AC-130 The whole time lmao

Keep in mind, enhanced physic was only supposed to make restoration last longer and only have x1. It’s a bugged they’re planning on fixing since enhanced gives x2 resto. (Which is not intended)

From my testing is you would still want another Warlock on well if one is running SoF just to get those quick orbies and more buffs but if im the only warlock i run SoF unless they want well. But yeah i love SoF and has allowed me to LFG the GM to easy success. Speakers mask+SoF= Beast mode, and with SoF i can be mobile

If you are not on G-horn you could also use Apex predator with demolitionist instead of reconstruct and just abuse the grenade Regen song of flame offers.

sof last about as long as well 25s and 15/16s if spamming, you also get 90% dr and give 30% dr to teammates, and radiant is always active as long as sof is. The only thing WoR excels at is the AOE in which raidant gets applied bc of the diameter being wide, on top of being able to go outside of the diameter to have continued uptime. the dr suffers in comparison. you can't really move with it, and you can get resto on prismatic and solar.
